HARRY POTTER 2010!

Recommended Posts

This sure would be great if it's true, and I can see them doing it considering the release of the videogame. Like others, I need some more evidence to completely believe it, so it would be great if someone more people could confirm it. :classic: (I'm too lazy to contact them myself. )

If they bring back HP i'll be really happy and surprised. Hopefully they will, so i'm staying optimistic

Well, if this is true, then I am :pir-cry_happy::thumbup:. I used to have a ton of sets from Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, but I got rid of them for some reason. :pir_bawling: Every day I rue that decision. And on top of that, I could never find any of the Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire sets anywhere. (And the ones I did find were of poor quality.) I really, really, really want this to be true.

OMGGGG!!!!!!!! YESSS!!!!!!! HARRY POTTER LEGO IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! l does yes dance l

Let's keep in mind that NOTHING IS CONFIRMED YET.

It really doesn't make much sense if you think about it. Why would LEGO cancel Indy just to turn around and revive Harry Potter. Plus with Disney and Ben 10, I'm just not buying it.

This makes me happy, you know why? Besides the fact that I'll buy lots of Harry Potter sets, it clearly demonstrates that Lego will have to renew their Star Wars license in the blink of an eye! Hoorah!

No, it doesn't demonstrate crap because nothing is confirmed yet.

Do you have a dictionary? Can you guess what word is not in it? Gullible, you say? Exactly.

Could anyone else confirm this? I would love for this to be true but without somebody else this seems unlikely. hplegolover91 could you maybe show us a copy of the email?

Oh poo. Now I go back and read these posts that it's a fake. Not cool. :hmpf_bad: @Sologuy: Why would you be happy about Lego ditching Star Wars. Your name is SOLO guy! Your avatar is Han Solo! What up with that?

It is possibly new sets will be coming though, simply because of the video game...

We're not fully sure Lego is canceling Indy, but it's widely assumed. I don't know why. But if you are right, then this could mean something big for old themes.

But... I really hope you aren't lying. I know that if it turned out to be false, you'd be banned pretty quickly for a childish game. Maybe you'd get a second chance. Anyway, could you copy and post the email?

My sisters, nephews, big brother, mother in law, who was married to my cousins sister twice removed, confirmed what my uncle's son, who married my 2ND cousin, who walks the dog of TLC's head designer overheard at the last Lego executive meeting...

That Lego has definitely, surly decided that they will be reviving the Harry Potter line when, and if they see fit sometime in the not so very far away future if and when they feel like.

Just playing around guys. I don't care whether or not the line comes back or not.

But in all seriousness, for those that are calling foul play about this...

Why not just write to TLC yourselves and ask what the deal is with Harry Potter? I mean if hplegolover91 is telling the truth and he was told via email that the HP line will be coming back, then I'm sure whom ever writes to them with a similar question will get a similar response he did no? No reason they would tell him somthing different.

Hey, whadd'yah know, I buy it! Of course I know this could be faked, by taking a different email and simply putting the new response in, but I'm still going for it. I really, really hope this is true, but still if the mods don't believe you I have to go with them. I'm sort of a butt-kisser that way.

I know most of the new sets would be from the new movie though... Sadly not based on the book. Of course TLG may go back and re-do some old ones.

I just saw that hplegolover91 posted his email. If anyone still has there doubts then i still say email TLC yourself and see if you get a simular response.

I'd say IJ is getting cancelled because it's running out of recognizable sets to make.

I can't really imagine TLC not making Harry Potter again. While I didn't get many of the old sets, all sorts of interesting pieces came out of it.

Too late. :wacko::hmpf:

WAIT,lego is canceling Indiana jones,WHY?

It can't go on forever you know.

Wait...if its your sisters nephew isn't it your nephew too?

Such as Peril In Peru. We didn't even see Indy with Russian's on that plane and the actual plane was shown for under 30 seconds.

Like I said earlier the only reason I'd like hp sets is for the fleshie minifigs & interesting parts.

And on that note, we're going to wrap up this speculation-fest.

It might be true, it might not, nobody really knows, and if I posted every bit of wrong information I've gotten from customer service, you'd be amazed by the shocking details.

I think we're going to lock this, given some poor attitude issues that we don't need to see continue.

Thanks for playing, here's your parting gifts. :hmpf:
