The Aztecs were arguably the greatest Pre-Columbian civilization in North America, this being made possible by several factors, one being the ability to grow the necessary food from their defensible city of Tenochtitlan in the middle of Lake Texcoco. The farming method employed here is called a Chinampa, and it is basically a shallow rectangular area that can be dredged up from the lake bed and used to grow crops.

"A lone Indian chieftain wanders the desert, evading the clutches of the ones who murdered the rest of his tribe in cold blood..." Extra pictures (added July 9th, 2015): ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's been a while since my last MOC was made, and I haven't ever made any real Wild West MOCs before, so I decided it was time to put an end to both of those things. The MOC picture was edited to make it look and feel more like an old western movie - thought that'd be a nice touch. Enjoy, and C&C is welcome as always!

Cute Lego Ideas project, your opinion on western topics?
colibri posted a topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I came across this cute Lego project I wanted to share with you. I have the impression western themes in general are not so popular? This project is a bit more than just another western topic. What do you think of western themes? Are they in or out? As to my last thread concerning Goblin Fortress in Lego Ideas I agree with Kodan Black, Lord Dan and the_Cook. What are your comments on Lego Pueblo? I tried to make a screenshot of one of the pics for you. Hope the quality is good enough, if not, well you got the link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/74687 Cheers P.S. I found another interesting project in Lego Ideas which I would like to share with you. I am curious what you will say to that one. In time I will post.- 3 replies

Hey everyone, I've been interested in Indians of the Northern US and Old Northwest for a while now. After a fair bit of research, I decided to try to put together a purist Iroquois war party. Things I'm still trying to get right: How to make a ball head warclub. How to make a gustoweh. I've been using the red head wraps but they dont carry the same sense of gravitas as those worn by Thayendanegea or Teyoninhokovrawen.
