Lots of Missing HF Parts
Darth Fandom posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I have recently downloaded the latest LEGO Digital Designer, 4.3.12, to digitally design a whole chunk of Hero Factory heroes and villains. It's really good, and has 1.0 parts, 2.0 parts, 3.0 parts and Breakout parts. However, it's missing Brain Attack parts. I know that there is a Digital Designer with the Brain Attack parts, however there's so many Digital Designers and I don't really have the data to download each and every single LDD just to get a few parts. There's also a lot of missing Breakout pieces, such as for Core Hunter and XT4, and 1.0 parts, like Stormer's helmet and chest plate, Stringer's helmet and various weapons. I would really appreciate it if I could know which LDD has these parts.- 2 replies

Hi Everybody!!!! I m really new to designing so I kind of need some help!!!! PLeaaaase :) I basically bought some instructions of a moc and was not happy with it in general. did not like the details as well as the underlying structure so decided to give it a go and downloaded studio! I m really excited and been working on the project at least a month now and must say I m handling it really well! BUT this particular set nets nets strings tubes that need flexing etc. That is where I got a problem!!! For example nets are not even available on the program and tubes are really hard to manipulate and connect... I did a search on you tube and in the forum but did not find an answer... I would really appreciate any help or advice!!!

Hi all, So I’ve just finished rebuilding all my modulars after moving home. I never had the space to get the 5 all lined up in one go before and I’ve realised a couple of things doing it. Firstly, although I love the Parisian Restaurant, it really doesn’t look right sitting next to any of the more recent modulars. So much so, that I’m almost tempted to discount it as a modular. It’s smaller in stature, and the style is more house like than any other building. Any thoughts? Secondly, despite meticulous deconstruction and then reconstruction, I’ve found I have some missing parts and some extras. Weirdly, quite a few of the extras are the little things you lose, if you're not careful. The missing bits have tended to be regular parts I could resupply from the parts bins. Although I am missing the top of the palace cinema sign altogether, which is more than a bit odd. The building and demolition took place in a hard wood floored room, and furniture has been thoroughly checked. It’s driven me mad. Has anyone else experienced this strange phenomenon? Any way, it’s nice to have all 5 built together, in some form of street. Considering a GBHQ to add in to the street, with maybe a mod or two, since I can’t wait for the 2018 modular to hit the stores near me. That’ll be the summer realistically.

How do I add a missing part?
LegoJalex posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'm a newbie at LDD so sorry if this seems like a stupid question, I'm about to create instructions for a model I have built. But one crucial part that I need does not seem to exist when I search for it - Bracket 1x2 - 1x2, 99781. Then I found a .dat file at ldraw.org/ and they say I should put it in the parts/ directory, or models/ directory, but in my recently updated version of LDD there are no such folders. I tried creating them manually and put the .dat file in there, but they do not show up in LDD what I can see. So does anyone know how to add missing parts to LDD? Any help would be appreciated!- 4 replies
