This is a discussion for unique lego misprints, mistakes and prototypes. TLG is renowned for its quality bricks, but sometimes a misprint or mistake can slip by, and therefore be worth a lot. As for prototypes, I'm not sure how people acquire them, but maybe they work in the LEGO factory? Please tell me as I would love to have one, but they do cost a lot, as a single helmet piece can cost you a whopping 600 dollars! My heart says yes, but my wallet says no way. Ok, so I found a few listings on eBay and this one seller does seem to have an interesting collection of them. And once again, I'm wondering how he got them. (Unfortunately I don't have any)

Three years ago, I bought a large amount of the exclusively new "Kashyyyk battle pack" sets. Agreed by everyone, the primary reason for these sets were the highly detailed Scout trooper, whilst lurking in the background, remained the non-cannon Kashyyyk clone trooper. Although, the value for the ordinary troop barely suffices over £5, there was a rather stranger peculiar misprint, which was briefly spotted 2 days prior construction. This misprint, annoyingly encouraged me to discard the misprint, however with conversations with Lego, a replacement was offered. Fortunately, I still have this misprinted helmet piece, where the front facing detail is reversed, meaning that the front helmet is plain, olive green, whilst the detailing is behind. Anyone have any clue, on the value behind this misprint? Please find the image attached below. Kind regards, http://imgur.com/a/rCEsW

I recently obtained a bulk lot of Bionicle pieces, one kanohi caught my eye, at first it seemed like a normal Blue and silver komau from the Vhisola set, but I noticed a small slither of silver on the mask's "chin" after looking at photos and pictures of the mask no other examples seemed to have this, is it rare or just uncommon? Notice on the left part of the chin. so what do you think, do you have any peculiar masks to share?

Either a misprint or the arms are on backwards. Anyone else had this?
