  1. Like this model a lot, but think that the crane is definitely too big for this set and it looks totally out of proportion. hopefully effermans mod to the crane will bring it more to scale. I really like the design of that PALFINGER a lot more, mind if I use it in my model? my modification thus far Shortened the truck to 49cm (61 studs) remove crane & outriggers installed fuel tank installed spare wheel Altered 2nd Wheels arch to be same height as rear axles changes wheel arch width altered front bumper to be 19 studs wide thanks
  2. Yes the "piston"aka actuator has its own clutch build in which in this case is very noisy It may look like the gears are skipping but they are still turning
  3. Would like to see that next to your Unimog family
  4. I made some changes to the arches and made the 1 1/2 wide (protruding the side) and 2 thick (not sure if this was what you ment with more precedence) and the only change to the beam of the windscreen was the Mirrors and the wissor above. The mirror was fixed using a #5 axle connector and now its a #6 axle connector Thank you for your suggestions on this as I'm pleased with the end result
  5. As said before absolutely amazing Well executed Pat.

  8. Thanks That has been bothering me too and I'm still pondering how to improve the wheel arches as they currently don't do it for me either...

  13. This BWE is going to disappointed a lot of people... personally I think that it will be mini scale or its just a hoax ,which will be totally hilarious...

Hi Henry Very nice c model. Looks like a official lego model , how many parts are left from building this? And can you post a pic from the underside please. Sieg
  17. Hi Guys This is my mod for the B model (Tractor only) with a dump bed. LA is operated with the right hand light on top of the BB. The only changes was removing the 5th Wheel and altering the steering to accommodate for the Mini LA operation. I was trying to change as little as possible from the original model and think it came out OK for a afternoon MODding session . Dump Bed up. Close up for the LA placement Here you can see the gearing and routing of the axles to the Mini LA And the bottom. And the side and the Back Enjoy... and any comments welcome
  18. Once again just jaw dropping building and flawless design. Watched this over and over and every time I'm looking for the driver of the Truck and the VW this is surreal. Outstanding work

  22. ^ They are very similar and that was actually the topic I was looking for.... Anyway all these post of Building rooms and collections got me motivated to set my own Lego Room up and Im glad I did this, is definitely the better way to go, not a-lot but is good enough for me and my 28 Sets and no more "just remember to clean the dinning room" or Are You going to leave that there" Before And After shots Before and after
