I like the whole idea but after seeing the paintings of roman gardens (made at the time) they loved lush green slightly wild gardens with birds and roses and creepers etc etc... (at least in Pompeii)

Wow that's a nice Bagshot Row/Hobbiton.I like the studs everywhere. Why don't you extend the reverse side to make a scoured shire (like in the books) then one side would be nice, spin it around and then you'd have a destroyed shire!??

Dark tan and dark blue would really complete this vehicle for me as I'm fond of the darker colours. Lucky you getting the Lone Ranger sets!! I'm still waiting for the release..... -
I love the size of this thing, but I must agree with you those rocky bits do look out of place. The sides of the tower seen in the last photo have huge windows, something I'd change to be made smaller so it looks more secure as a fortress gate. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83887 This is a link to another tower building that has nice cross windows that maybe you could use.

Hmmmm, that's a lot of arches. i'm not about to rush off and buy it though as it is rather lumpy from some angles and stupid looking from others. -
