LEGO Star Wars 10236 Ewok Village
Maximillian365 replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's so iconic!!! I've never seen a Star Wars set that is as articulate as this one! You get all the minifigures you need, all the weapons and vehicles plus iconic movie functions and heaps more! Despite its price, it's truly a great set!!! -
Press Release 10237 - Tower of Orthanc

I really have to agree with you. After all, I live in New Zealand and it's real obvious that Lego prices don't favour licensed themes. -
[REVIEW] 76009 Superman: Black Zero Escape
Maximillian365 replied to Plissken's topic in LEGO Licensed
Might get this set for the minifigures - and the pod, as it doesn't look too bad after all. Love Superman and how they included with both his headpiece and helmet. -
Neat build for a Chima figure. Besides the head piece which could've resembled Eris's minifigure a lot more, everything else looks great.

Ultra-build Cragger seems better than what I thought it was like at first (I believed the neck was way too longer), but it still looks OK, even though the legs seem way to thin. I didn't really support the idea of having ultra-builds for Chima in the first place, but it still seems a reasonable figure to add to your collection. Also, its worth getting it for the awesome new pieces (especially the head and jaw pieces).

Awesome MOC! Really liked what you did with the Yoda legs and how R2-D2 had his 3rd leg popping out. I also loved what you did with the x-wing sinking!!!

Press Release 10237 - Tower of Orthanc
Maximillian365 replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Some truly awesome pictures there!!! Overall, I think there are quite a few things the designers couldve have improved on. First of all, the Tower of Orthanc should be enclosed, so it looks like a full tower, instead of only having one half of it, split down the middle. If they wanted to show the interior, then why couldn't they make another half, connect it to the first half and swing both halves out so that the interior could be revealed. Nevertheless, the tower has some great details. Also, I think the Great Eagle should most definitely be better, and the ent? Well, that looks great. I think the real highlight of this set would be the minifigures. Saruman and Grima look awesome, and we finally get Gandalf the Grey with hair instead of hat. ( ) The two orcs still seem good as before. Overall, it seems like a great set!!! -

[MOC] Imperial Troop carrier and Cargo Haulage (WiP)
Maximillian365 replied to Fenaughty's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's a very neat design! Love the astromech at the front! Perhaps you could place a machine in cargo unit. -
It's a pity that the Red Team hasn't had any decent-sized vehicles made for them yet...

This model is very nice !

Personally, I'm just a little bit curious to see what Disney would bring for us. Still, it does seem exciting to see the release of upcoming episodes about the Star Wars saga. So in the meantime, it's best to be patient.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
Maximillian365 replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
As an Original Trilogy fan, the A-wing is temporarily top one on my list for next year, to be honest, the minifigures seem pretty neat, especially the A-wing pilot. Han solo should have had a plain shirt, without pockets on it, as it looks messy with them. Admiral Ackbar is the same but still looks good. The ship itself is OK, but it seems like it was done at the last minute, but nevertheless, I still would go for this one.
