LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Tilly replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Good to see a return to the regular CMF line. I will definitely be picking up a wizard and a jester. Probably the pizza guy and maybe the princess. I kind of like the genie but it bugs me that she doesn't match the genie from series 6. Would have been nice to see some more new accessories. I've often bought CMFs just for their awesome accessories.- 1109 replies

This is lovely! The amount of detail on the house is impressive for such a small space. I especially like the upstairs windows.

Ok! So! Over a year ago I said I was going to be making some of the other Where's Wally characters, and finally I'm back to deliver! Presenting Wenda: Stripes are painted and hat is epoxy putty, same as Wally. Face is the Swimming champion from CMF S7 with glasses drawn on using a fine tipped sharpie. Skirt is made from fabric, works the same way as the kilt on the bagpiper in CMF S7. Also, Wizard Whitebeard: His staff is a butchered windsurfing mast with painted stripes. I'm still kind of torn about whether to leave his blue hat as is or to remove the brim to make him more true to the books. I kind of like it the way it is. Also I may swap out his head for a better one. I think the CMF S8 santa face would be ideal. That's my progress so far! I'm pretty close to finishing Odlaw (the bad guy) though so hopefully I'll be back sooner next time

LEGO Collectable Minifigures - The LEGO Movie Series Discussion
Tilly replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Kind of glad to hear this will be a stand alone series and not series 12. Seemed like a weird thing to do if it was going to be a numbered CMF series. I agree with others in that I might be more excited about some of the figures once I've seen the movie, but in any case I'll definitely be having that panda, and probably the female construction worker. It's good to see a pretty badass looking lady minifig, would love to see more of them! -
Brick Daddy gets a pimptastic upgrade, and a few "companions."

This is excellent! He looks so much pimpier! And I love the space hookers, especially the one on the left. -
This is incredible The level of detail and sheer scale of the build is mind-blowing. I could look for ages and keep seeing more things!

MOSAIC: David Bowie as the Thin White Duke

Amazing! Very clever technique for a black and white image, I haven't seen it before. The close up reminds me of melting snow. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion

I immediately thought of Moist von Lipwig too! I like the golden fig. I was expecting just a featureless gold coloured fig but I think this is more interesting. Will definitely grab one if I find it but given the odds I probably won't really go out of my way looking. Definitely going to be picking up the clown, the sea captain, the librarian and probably the trendsetter if only for her accessories. I think the skydiver might actually be my favourite though. His face is the best- 1076 replies

Very nice - instantly recognisable! And I especially like the sullen unmasked villain. If it weren't for you meddling kids........

Man this blew my mind again and again. Excellent design and incredible detail. Very well presented too - there is so much to look at here!

I have wondered about this. I mostly just collect and customise minifigs, and I have wondered if this makes me less of a 'real' AFOL than those who actually build with lego bricks. But as others have said above, minifigs are lego. Also, I'm pretty sure people outside of the AFOL communitly wouldn't really see the distinction.

Beautiful! I love microscale and this very well done. I see Papa Smurf!

These are very cool. Lovely detailing! Where are the big top hats from? I don't think I've seen them before.

Interesting. I was maybe hoping for something a little more different somehow from all the other CMFs, but I like the toy soldier fig. I'll still get the book, and so I'll still get the soldier fig, so I guess this makes no change to my plans really
