AoM Archery Phase I - Hunting

Thanks, the sideways rock is (sadly) mostly behind the minifigure, so you can only see it in the first pic I actually used almost every dark gray slope I had with me in the build and was trying to experiment with combining studs up with studs... well, studs other ways rock

    AoM towers phase 1

Nice build, I like the icicle (that's what it is, right ) Good work on the rocks and tower as well, however, I would suggest that on upcoming builds you get rid of the big border, as the others have said, it makes it look a little empty

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

I finished a phase I Archery build today, to late to get good pics though, so I won't upload it till Monday. BTW, it was also supposed to be a Barracks phase I build too, but gradually changed into an archery one instead Ooc: Lots of trash talk going on here; I was going to build a ship myself, but never got around to it. It will have to wait awhile now since I don't have any ship pieces with me
  5. I had originally planned to make this an AoM phase one for Barracks (sparring), but it turned out as just a freebuild Anyways after finishing his keep, Uridius is spending his time strengthening Mitgardia's military force: Marching on ice is a good way to learn to keep your balance, and it doesn't appear unenjoyable either, Uridius rides with his men: C&C are welcome

AoM - Stables Phase I: Marching on Ice

Thanks, Kabel, the reason I didn't make it a phase I build for barracks is that they aren't exactly sparring... if you think it would work for stables phase I (horse rider), just change the name and I'll post it in the AoM thread

AoM - Stables Phase I: Marching on Ice

Thanks Thanks, the only reason I used those was because my bro was using a couple of the normal ones, and I didn't want to wait around untill he let me use them

Thanks The problem was that, as you sent me the link I could copy the pic from the message, and I always use the BBCode from Flickr. I got it in there now, though Thanks guys, I just got it all fixed @Kevkipo, just so you know, you should probably take the pics out of the words when you quote something, it takes up to much room to quote a whole bunch of pictures Sk, looking even better now

Hometown: Parts: Head, Hat, Torso, Arms, Legs, Cape, Sword, Shield Rasmus Olander Titles and Profession: Short Bio: Rasmus Olander was born in Mitgardia, specifically up North in the Clan Lands. As it is well known, the Clan Lands are a harsh environment, where snow is present year long, and usually only the toughest men survive. As a boy, Rasmus was extremely weak and sickly. At first, his parents tried to help him toughen up for the climate, but as time continued, his father became ashamed of his son. Instead, Rasmus's father, Ragnar, focused on his younger son, who showed promise of being a strong warrior and leader. On Rasmus's 11th birthday, a year before most boys are tested by being sent into the cold to survive, Rasmus's father abandoned his son deep in the frozen mountains. His father was afraid that Rasmus would continue to embarrass him, and hoped the cold would kill him quickly. Instead of dying, Rasmus willed himself to survive and to prove his family wrong. He fought through blizzards and freezing temperatures to eventually find food and shelter. Over the next two years, he survived alone in the woods around the Clan lands. At the age of 13, Rasmus travelled South and all around Historica. Through his many travels he met a few friends, made many enemies, and acquired a thirst for adventure and treasure. After many years of travel, he returned home to Mitgardia to help with the current Civil War plaguing Nocturnus. He plans to eventually move back to the Clan Lands, but vows to never return to his former village. He hopes to never see his father again. Bran has spent most of his life helping the townsfolk on their farms, doing whatever needs to be done to help his neighbors get by. He has also learned many skills from townspeople willing to take him in as an apprentice. In particular, he is an adept healer, a skilled strategist, and a fair swordsman. He loves his homeland, but yearns for adventure and a chance to see the rest of the great wide world. His home stands aside of the Lake, but he's not home very often. Always wandering around, he's a wise man and knows a LOT of spells. As a proud Mitgardian this man will always defend his land with golden sword and staff in hand (the sword he uses for healing, it will ever only be used for killing bad creatures) and as the grumpy man he is, he will always serve the good! Eventually, when he has the money saved up, he'd like to visit the dwarves and learn their smithing secrets. Hometown: Parts: Head, Hat, Torso, Legs, Arms, Bar, Jumper, 2x1 Plate As you can see, I wasn't quite as strict as to the pics as with Book I, because most of them all pretty new. AoM - Stables Phase I: Marching on Ice

Thanks Thanks, actually, the ice doesn't have anything under it, it is just the plastic which in the middle of the brick is thicker then on the extremes (I got a whole bunch of those pieces at the PaB wall ). The angle of the pic just makes that more noticeable at some places than at others

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Welcome to Mitgardia (again), Duke Blastus That is actually a pretty good quality pic, my suggestion (I see you have plenty about doing it outdoors already) would be to take your pictures on white paper, as it is less distracting than most other backgrounds. Especially when it is something small like a minifig, and you can just use one piece (curved, that way you can avoid the lines that you have when you use two or three) Ooc, I will do my best to get all the sigfigs up today (I still need to link a whole bunch of pieces to Bricklink)

  23. That's interesting, because I find Kaliphlin easier than Nocty and Avalonia as well, Mitgardians and Kaliphlinians probably just talk a lot more
