Very cool. I've always loved space by never thought about the "real" time line.

Just call with dad in the room. Let them know that he ordered it for you but that he "only" speaks Greek and you'll speak for him. They'll probably only ask him, "is it ok for your son speak on your behalf, to which he reply "yes" and pass the phone back. Now that being said I'm guessing you didn't tell your dad you used his info on the account. In which case I'd just do what AlexB said.

"Honey, I need to talk to you. It's not you it's me." (Wait for the slap. Then...) "No you don't understand I'm not seeing anyone else I'm just really interested in Lego as Hobby. Yes I know it sounds very nerdy but when if die first you'll have tons of Lego that you can sell and live off of for your years. And if you die first you know I'll never remarry because I'll be too busy with my Lego." That should work no problem.

Just says fight. I'm guessing this is hand to hand combat. Because if not, sorry. Count Dooku could simply bombard Middle Earth from space. Hey Saruman can your planet withstand an all out assault from the entire Separatist Army?

Changing colors is a nice touch.

The Mrs. created a Flickr account and is talking about joining the LUG and is planning on possibly staring to build. There goes all my fun!

Dream about playing with Lego.

Angles of Light Description: A tower fortress for semi-fictional character DarthPLUR. So it's still really not done yet! There's a whole array of items that surround this thing that I couldn't fit in the picture including to aspects I haven't built and I'm still planning on finishing the interior. Adults not allowed! - LEGOLand Discovery Centres

Kids not allowed at AFOL conventions! Oh wait never mind... -
Put the ol' beast on the scale this week. 117 lbs. Robin from Lego Corp guessed about 35,000 pieces. I was thinking about 30,000. Also I’m guessing about 300-350 hours to build.

When did your collection reach critical mass?

Ok I posted an explanation. :/ -
Ok here it is: BW2013 MEGA Creation "Winner". A picture says a thousand words. Brickworld 2013 by RΟΟK, on Flickr I made the final 5 for Mega Creation at Brickworld 2013. And by looking at this picture I’m guessing that I either won and there was a conspiracy, or I placed second and it was typo, or someone thought it would be really fun to mess Adrian Drake and post my name and MOC title with an image of his SHIP. In any case he got the trophy and looks like I got the title.

Glad to see those Chima pieces getting put to good use! :)

I think there's a 7 day wait on some things and post count on others. Check out the FAQs, you should be able to find the answer there, and welcome from ON. ;)

Don't worry that's about all I heard at Brickworld too. "Wow", "oh my...", and "holy sh..."; were the top 3 responses.

Intelligence is currently being measured in at least 9 categories. 1 Logical-mathematical 2 Spatial 3 Linguistic 4 Bodily-kinesthetic 5 Musical 6 Interpersonal 7 Intrapersonal 8 Naturalistic 9 Existential So going by the original post I would be willing to say that AFOLs would probably excel in at least one of these, Spatial Intelligence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spatial_intelligence_(psychology)

Yeah off the stove.

Much better review of the build. Wish I would have had time to build something for it. :/

I've only seen them at the Lego Stores so far but I haven't really been looking anywhere else.

Wish there was some shots of the interior. :(

Thanks for front paging this. This MOC set a couple of records for me: Longest time to build… about 300 hours between September and June. Tallest structure I’ve built to date… about 6’6”. First MOC displayed at a Lego Convention. Number of special purchases… about 18. 2-3 Lego.com orders, 3-4 BrickLink orders, 3-4 TLG sets, and half dozen or more Large PaB cups, and finally a whole PaB box of 1x8 white tiles. Most number of pieces in a MOC… not even close to sure guessing maybe 20,000. Number of appearances on The Brothers Brick… looks like four. Two videos about Brickworld, then the tower itself, and Skyskippers that are on its landing pads. And finally the highest of praise: Sean and Steph Mayo using the Butterfly design, that is in the garden area, for one their creations ( http://www.flickr.co...ocy/8535259302/ ).
