    What's your latest acquisition?

Picked up 2 Warg attack sets for $24.99 each. I already have 1 but to this bargain I could not say no to. Its just odd how some places have certain sets discounted while others dont. I picked up 2 mirkwood spiders (or whatever its called) for 50% at Target months ago while its still regular price at Meijer.
  2. Target Grand Rapids MI Uruk hai army and Escape from Mirkwood 50% off.
  3. I felt as the employees weren't really familiar with what I was asking. Then again I did not want to drive 100 miles in the circle to see who has the best clearance. Will hit one of them in a few hours.
  4. I called all Meijers and Walmarts in my area. Not a single set on sale. It would be nice if we include locations. I called stores in Grand Rapids MI and Caledonia MI.

    Legends of Chima 2013

I got my hands on several Chima figures. I dont see these figures as cute or whatever else others are saying, I see them as complete badasses. I am a huge castle/pirate AFOL army builder. I have been building a huge MOC for the past 3 years. For me these guys will live in the forest with the rest of the castle factions. I cant wait to include them in MOC where the Wolf tribe meets Wolfpack :) These figures are so awesome. The amount of detail and print is simpy amazing.

    Legends of Chima-Overall Thoughts

As a huge castle/pirate fan,I LOVE minifigs, but I am not so sure about sets themselves. I am so glad they decided to go with animal tribes. Ill def. be collecting all animal tribes. I wish they made it more medivalish but I can understand why they didnt. Overall I am very pleased with this theme.

    LEGO Castle 2013

I dont think it would cut their profits. There are tons of us AFOLs who drop decent amount of money on Sets we like. So reintroducing forestmen/wolfpack or just doing a better job then that rubbish 2003 like sets wouldnt hurt since we would buy them-speaking from Castle AFOL point of view. Noting too exciting about getting another lion knight, trust me. LOTR/Hobbit sets will always be appealing to castle fans. If these are the final products, I think it will be epic fail and the only time these sets will look somewhat appealing will be when they go on clearance for 50%+ off

    LEGO Castle 2013

It seems that a lot of us were expecing something more exciting, or perhaps forestman/wolfpack return (remodeled maybe) but same old boring castle just gets old. There is so many king's castles you can have. We are still waiting for that awesome Roman, celtic, Greek and what not theme. Exactly, same as police HQ from city. How many police stations that city has?! HAHA. Im doubting ill be purchasing any of the new castle line up.

    LEGO Castle 2013

Yikes. I must say I am dissapointed at new castle line up. As a huge castle fan and owner of most of castle sets, this seems like a complete remake.

    What's your latest acquisition?

Attack of the Wargs $9.97 (after amazon.com credit card sign up) Barrel escape (gift) Looking to get several BL minifigs, yes I am a minifig hoarder aka Army builder :) I'll probably end up completing LOTR and hobbit sets next week.
  15. It was still 25% off even without it. I should have been more specific upfront. Cheers
