I have been away for a short bit, so here's the list as I remember it. Is there only one? Since Lego Ideas is filled with... ideas... like saying 'the medieval set' refers to only one specific set. Now of course there may be only one Gingerbread House with 10,000 votes. Idk. The devil's advocate in me I guess. ---------------------------- After reviewing the current offerings I see there is only the one with 10,000 votes that states it is Not Approved. I prefer this Gingerbread house myself. On another note, I have still not seen any of these leaks about this years set.

I love it. I wish I was as happy with my current PaB selection. I grabbed some Build-a-Minifigures Sunday, but withheld the rest of the budget for upcoming larger purchases. I also had a bunch of eBay CMFigs show up at my house today, Gingerbread man, Caveman & cavewoman, Series 2 Female Lifeguard, Series 3 Baseball player.

I feel like I may have skimmed over this at some point but that must explain why I feel there is never (IMO) a proper or corresponding link when people post things. ------------------- I am thrilled to have stumbled upon this thread today. To get on a jump on the holidays this year over last year I have already started filling a curio cabinet with my holiday builds. Now I need to go search some images.

This is what happens when I can't sleep and I'm sorting through my massive "backlog-bin" of unsorted bricks and sorting out stuff into bins and the random things I find [like the rapper torso] and suddenly I find myself doing a photoshoot for a rapper I just made up around my city. I used the new movable short legs from one of the Harry Potter sets, and tried to fold one of the 'BrickLoot cape pack' skirts to be the boxers above the sagged pants. Lol I'm done. I hope this is still as funny to me in the morning.

Looks like you need to collaborate with... ..and you could both be happy! Jim knows whats up, listen to Jim. ^^ I'm sure you can make more money back selling the figs alone on eBay, or local Facebook marketplace. People will want those figs and be willing to pay much more than you value them so save themselves 100's of dollars/euros/etc ^See, Zephyr sounds smart too, listen to Zephyr lol^^ This is fantastic, I'm continually impressed by the knowledge and things I learn about on Eurobricks. As a brand new parent, I hadn't even thought about fine motor skills etc. I know I see many, many parents limiting "screen time" but hadn't looked into any of the reasons/benefits of why. -------------------------- As an owner of Lego trains for ~30 years, but still newbie to AFOL communities, I most appreciate this set for opening my eyes to a wealth of knowledge that I hadn't yet delved into here. I know I was disappointed the last couple years as I bought new tracks and trains and suddenly realized my old 12v system wasn't 100% compatible. I have a pretty large collection of train parts and pieces that I have yet to fully utilize because of the lacking compatibility. I will now have to move my train project and learning up my queue-line so I can make a large Christmas build. I'm curious to see how it looks next to all my existing things after reading everyone else's critiques and commentary. First impressions: I like this set, it is nice to see a decent size station building paired with a train. Also, great that it has a drive motor with it although I too would desire an included controller, allowing me to leave smart devices away on the charger. The sticker shock of the price I would rate at medium to low, especially considering aforementioned parts and the licensed characters. I definitely will move this to the top of my shopping list so I'm not left empty handed come the holiday season. Since I am completely unaware, does the included motor allow you to simply turn on and let it run?

Bahaha, I know what I am doing when I get home now lol Several random eBay orders came in: Simpsons Maggie, Series 1 Forestman, R2-Q2, LOTR Tauriel, 3 Barded horses, Gladiator, Caroler, Minotaur, Marty McFly, an assortment of zombies/Halloween/series 14, some canoes/rafts. It looks really random listed out lol.

I always like more pictures!!! Ahhhh I love it! The Zombie is exactly what I wanted! Paired with the Rock and Roll Frankenstein and some other frightful musicians. In the complex one I love the "rug tassles" or edges of the flooring parts. Very creative!

I need to get off eBay and get to WalMart!

FANTASTIC! I love the details, the drumset is gorgeous (I feel a need to make one for my upcoming Halloween build) the backdrop even looks Lego-accurate to the logo picture! Well done!

I agree! I can't wait to build it! I was thinking that too! That would be a fun MOC to make, and recreate some scenes! My thoughts on the blue roof pieces is that they may have produced many and are trying to make sure they have uses for them, (from the Stranger Things set and others.) It doesn't take away from the set as it is still a very dark color and under the leaves will likely still look closer to a black roof. Just my thoughts, we'll see once I get it. I hope to pick this up weekend after next!

I removed the goggles from TLM2 CMF Battle-Ready Lucy. Not clean work, just had one sitting on my desk and I started working on it. Here is the result: I am debating if I want to put any more work on it to smooth the edges or not. Thoughts, comments, constructive-criticisms?

This is art! Truly beautiful attention to detail that instantly make us fall in love with it. AND there are so MANY details to fall in love with! The stickers are tasteful and consistent giving it a production-level Lego quality feel. If this isn't submitted to LEGO ideas, it should be!!! I believe many would love to add this to their cities and provide the Diner with some healthy competition! What do you use to print your stickers?

I scored the 75945 Expecto Patronum today at the Lego store, they were out when I arrived but got a shipment in just after I arrived and it was on the shelf as I was about to leave.

I started off the same way. Solid advice above suggesting going with the older set. I purchased the Parisian Restaurant first, simply because the Brick Bank was discontinued just before I could buy my first modular. I recently got a deal on the Diner and must say I personally enjoy it a bit more then the restaurant. The gym and music studio on the upper floors are just more to my interests then the apartments above the restaurant. Regardless I have enjoyed incorporating them into my city.

That was in 2012, I'm guessing it isn't empty anymore. :D I love it! Smart having your build right up to the edge, for easy expansion with more board/table. <3 The Batman chasing the criminal on the rooftop. I often add similar touches! Seeing the evolution over time is really neat. I hope when I move into my next home I can start building a big layout like this again. {I wish I had documented more of my past builds.}

From my post in the Build a Minifigure thread I was excited thinking this was another [hopeful] sign of forth coming castle sets, until @K_Tiger enlightened me this was the CMF S.15 Frightening Knight outfit. :/
