Tree of Worlds - Brickworld Chicago 2018 Eurobricks Collab
choops1 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
That build was amazing. My wife loved it and kept pointing things out to me. The flowers, the icicles, the frogs, and the eyes and wings of the dragon should be noted. Great Job by everyone Steve- 28 replies

ordered one this morning at lego.com. Steve -
I want to add the interior room also to mine. The first step would be to narrow the center framework. It is currently 8 studs across and can be brought down to 2 studs or even offset toward the cockpit side to give room for a room. Then the bottom structure would need to be modified because the rooms are sunk down into them. fixing gaps on the falcon is a trial and error thing adding plates where you think you can. Rounding the top turret is also needed in my opinion. However I do prefer the brick built cockpit over the molded piece. Feels more lego to me. Steve

blown away! Like the way the cockpit blends into the other panels. The guns mounted to the docking ring seems like a legitimate added option. I like the use of the skis on the gun turrets. Great model. Steve

Interior is neat but too small. Thought they would reconfigure structure slightly to accommodate. Exterior looks great lot of added details from original. Too many stickers. Minor aside the ramp cylinders are built wrong in the pictures. LOL Steve

But they are smaller and closer to proper scale. Also allows more color detail with wedge plates. Steve

no the MF piece will be 6 studs on the small end and 10 studs on the large end. Look at the ninjago set 70616 the piece is used twice in this set. Steve

Meh! Looks too bumpy to me. If you look at the studio models the dome is pretty smooth. I think the docking tubes are too small. Should be same diameter as the cockpit. Could have done something different with the engines. The fins on the old lego set look like the real model better. I like the use of slopes for the cockpit tunnel and the brick built turrets look better. Will continue to work on my own design. Steve

Not Desperate. I may not even buy the set. But I really enjoy trying to solve the mystery of what the set will look like based on leaked images or new parts from other sets etc. etc. Steve
