  1. The rubber bands weren't in the bsx file or rebrickable. Do you happen to know which three are required?
  2. There are a few rare pieces which I am having a bit of trouble with. It also sucks when you are paying over a $1 for a 5c part (Black bushing). I may have to cut a black 8L axle.... yikes!

    [MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer Tyrant

Stellar! How many pieces is it?
  4. Thanks for the time and effort in building this amazing car, and the instructions!
  5. I wonder why they wouldn't highlight them as new parts..... These will be very popular to make MOC's
  6. Although not posted as new parts, I believe the orange soft axles may be new.

    Yet Another Death Star Room

Looks amazing.....but.......where is the death star? I would hang a DSII model from the ceiling.

    Grum's Shed

Your dedication and commitment are admirable.
  9. When I build a MOC which has PF's I decide if the functions are applicable to me. When I built Nico71's Honda RA 300 I decided that power functions were not worth it in that car. It was quite slow and I was happy to have it static along side all my other F1 cars. When I built the ICARUS and saw the speed of that car in the video, I absolutely was going to build it with motors. I am still waiting for a parts order to come in the finish it, but that thing whips around pretty quick inside my house and is a lot of fun to drive. My teenager son who has no interest in Lego had a blast driving it around. When I build some of the buggies and rock crawlers I don't see any point building them without PF's and testing them out! I think because you drive RC cars there will never be a supercar worth putting PF's in it. It can never be as fast.
  10. It is looking good! I am eagerly waiting to see the finished product and then may have a difficult decision which to build of the the two you have made!
  11. It works quite smoothly. I used the parts that I had at the time, so I think it can be lowered one stud. It is much easier to use than the picture I posted.
  12. The operation of the loader had jerky steering so there were two solutions posted on this forum. 1) change servo motor to M motor and add actuator and other bits to make it work. 2) Use a train remote. Using a train remote also required to switch the bucket movement which used to be on same IR remote as the steering to forward and backward motion. The pic below is what was done. The left side of the train remote is forward and backward motion and the right side is turning. As I explained, I wanted to be able to do everything at same time which is not possible with that option because you need two hands for motion and steering. So I made it possible for motion and steering with just one hand. Hope that helps explain it better. Cheers,
  13. I am not noticing the battery cutting out but I am noticing some rubbing of the tires. It seems the DBG 90 degree axle hub is touching the tires when tires are fully turned. Can you confirm if this is happening in your model please?
  14. Hi Paul, You are quite correct that you can't steer when the arm is fully forward or backwards at 90 degrees. I find that if I start with the arm slightly downwards, I will get full speed in the forward direction before hitting 90 degrees allowing me to steer at full speed. You do lose some backwards speed but I could live with that. Once I got good at controlling the truck, you can also use the red button reset and have your start position anywhere. Cheers.
  15. Looks like the Pagani Huayra. No instructions that I am aware of. See this thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=108588

    Ferrari F40

jorgeopesi, I will be building this iconic model in the near future once my parts order comes in but I was curious if you knew about some of the change done by Thorsten50? There is quite a large amount of parts difference between the two models on rebrickable. Great job on the model!
  18. See below what Therion was responding to. While I am sure the battery box with run four L motors without issue, I am not so sure it will under load.
  19. Have you applied a load on the motors?
  20. Is the one in the first picture on far left the Aventador with 41999 wheels? Never mind, after looking on your bricksafe pictures I could see it was. It looks better with the black pieces on the wheels rather than white. Nice collection!
  21. I liked the idea of using a train remote to remove the jerkiness of steering; however, I didn’t like the simplistic version shown earlier in this thread. I wanted to be able to drive, steer and use the bucket at the same time. Here is what I came up with.
  22. It looks amazing! I am looking forward to instructions! Kudos on the really well taken photos!
  23. So the battery box limitation was the sole reason? Couldn't two battery boxes be setup in parallel to avoid the problem or is that just a wiring headache?
  24. I am in the process of building this beautiful supercar and I am curious why two Sbricks are required. I am currently using two IR V2 receivers on the same channel (with one additional polarity switch) so I would think one Sbrick with four channels should suffice. 2L motors on C1, 2L motors on C2, Servo on C3 and lights on C4. Any thoughts? BTW.....long time lurker
