Lego mechnical servo motor
TheItalianBrick replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As i said on my first comment (which you probably didn't want to read in the right way), it's very stimulating indeed to find new solutions ect etc, but my questions was if it's worth in this case or not! so if LEGO is about building and not buying, then please explain me once again why should I buy at first place an M motor! Buy hey, nevermind me...we all like to explore....and sure we all do it!- 17 replies

TheItalianBrick replied to AndroTech's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
JIm is it the case they'll ask me if it's for a replacement of a broken one I already own? Cos I don't have the 42030 yet.... Effermann said that the bucket it's 15 euros (or similar)....just wondering how did he know about it! -

Lego mechnical servo motor
TheItalianBrick replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So why we need to buy an M motor to make a Servo??? we should't be buying motors according to your teaching philosophy! sorry, it's my really first experience with LEGO, I'm really new to this world and I still need to know how things works!- 17 replies

TheItalianBrick replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
i'm wondering where it's worth to attempt such a thing, when simply can buy a servo! I like to find solutions, it's challenging and it can lead to lots of new ideas, but this doesn't look like the case. Sorry.- 17 replies

[MOC] MAN M1001
TheItalianBrick replied to MajklSpajkl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Superb one!! I have a question, as I've already used a "adder" differential between the 2 Xl motors, in exactly the same position....but mine is the new differential...with bevel gears....yours it's the old one! Which gears did you use from the differential to the rest then? -

Technic Reviews - Videos or Pictures
TheItalianBrick replied to Osuharding1's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's hard to say, only I can say right now is that when I watch a video I really hate the texts coming when the video is going on! I mean you can't read and watch at the same time! so best would be to have a video yes, but it stops when a text pops up, and then goes on again! -
Lego Withdrawal ... How long have you stayed away from Lego?
TheItalianBrick replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's hard to say, cos I always kept them with me, even when I wasn't playing at all for months! I still have loads of LEGO bricks from the early 90s, and after nearly 30 years still the same! But hey, look at all the answers, everybody had a "dark age" in a similar period of our life, which is mostly when we get a wife, kids, or things like that! We are all busy with work, but I will bever consider LEGO as an hobby that lasts 2 years! LEGO it's lifestyle, it's the "scaffoldings" of our childhood , and within our culture and education! -
[MOC] GROVE GMK 4100B
TheItalianBrick replied to Bricksley's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looking wise it's a model team, but you wouldn't have all those functions on a model team! And guys all I wanted to say that even if it's a great model, it's relative to the 42009! the same as all these people working on the 8340 and "selling" it for a "new&different" model.... such a sad story! But hey, I already said, and I repeat it, that I like very much this model! Very detailed indeed, and the "Model Team" style looks awsome on it! Now please, try not not missunderstand my words -
Have you bought any of the 2014 Sets?
TheItalianBrick replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So Paul you think we should get the Tumbler as soon it comes on the market?? I doesn't seem to be a numbered set anyway..... I'm asking cos normally weeks after the release there are always some discounts here and there... -

TheItalianBrick replied to Bricksley's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's lovely, sure, but I still believe you guys are always making something too similar to the official 42009 crane! But again, as I said, I really like the design of it and for sure it's very close to the real one! :sweet: -

SBrick General Discussion
TheItalianBrick replied to Nofer89's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
But guys, somehow sounds like "buy an Sbrick, and and Iphone5 to let it work". I understand the advantages pf using a BLE, but probably the smart choice would have been to offer both options on Sbrick! There is anything the Sbrick Team can do for this?- 761 replies

[MT] Technic Model Team Contest - Information Topic
TheItalianBrick replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
then JIM, you are a lord! Talking about digital models, well, since I moved to UK I left all my bricks in Italy, so hopefully I'll make first a 3D model, then I'll see if there is enough time for purchasing the bricks and assembly a model! Too busy OMG..... :cry_happy:  - 184 replies

[MT] Technic Model Team Contest - Information Topic
TheItalianBrick replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Can I propose something? Well, I understand the winners deserve a prize, but I feel like those MT models you Jim are offering to us are too much! I mean, they could be part of your childhood, part of you, of your memories! If I was the winner of this contest I would refuse it, I would feel so sorry and sad for you to get rid of them and donate to me! So if everybody agrees, we could find a different solution, like a contest without any prize, or maybe a symbolic LITTLE MODEL CREATOR!- 184 replies
