Don't you think if they could show us, they would? They are obviously still waiting on licensing approval or some other legal issue. They aren't purposely saying "Let's screw over Dr. Who fans!" -

For $350 it better blow away the Town Hall which was $200,,, I can't imagine what could justify that price besides everything we'd think AND light/power functions. -

Someone posted a link to a site selling a custom window piece in this thread, sometime in the last couple weeks. It was from somewhere in Europe but they shipped world wide. Edit - Herky beat me to it. -

Pet Shop is a slow seller? It seems like its many people's favorite modular... and one of the few I bought more than one of. I'm shocked at that news. If I had to guess I would have thought it was the most popular modular. Mind blown! -

I would vote to buy the Pet Shop as well, although I image it sells better than the Palace Cinema so maybe it will stay in production longer, no way to know for sure. -

If the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette doesn't make it they should just shut down the site... What's the point? If something so perfect can't make it to be a real set there's no point to have an Ideas platform. -

This set is almost the same and is currently in review- https://ideas.lego.com/projects/98263 If that one makes it, no way this other one will, it's too similar. On the other hand if that one doesn't make it, I'm not sure why this one would either. -

Honestly I'm a bit concerned about that myself- but I have to give the guy credit- he showed incredible determination... When I first saw the project I didn't support it... When I saw it on Facebook the first time I didn't support it. When I saw it the 10th time I still didn't support it. But somewhere around the 20th time I saw it... I decided to support it- because this guy worked hard and as a fellow Lego fan I couldn't let all his effort go to waste. I truly wish him good luck. I think had the main photo been of the plane and not the ball he would have got 10k sooner. And you know what... if they do make it... I'm buying one. -

Why would they not allow it? Every set that doesn't break rules is just more advertising for Lego Ideas and therefore free advertising for Lego. You figure at least the set creator probably shares it on social media, even if no one else does. -

This really puts my Lego "addiction" in perspective I guess. In my adult life I would guess I've purchased maybe half as many pieces across all sets as would be in 20 modulars. -

All? Absolute not. Most? Absolutely. The DO was as play-time childish as I would go with a modular, it really was less than ideal. If the next one is even more play time secret cookie making nonsense I may just stop buying modulars altogether. Although it wasn't my comment I certainly understand the point that was being made- even if the wording isn't what I would have used. I could see this was part of the designer's personality- and that's great for someone in his position. I'd prefer the next modular designer be more like me- more serious about the design and exterior then worrying about secret hiding spots. It is a legit position to have. -

Not sure why you would leave because you disagree with the personal opinion of another user. Everyone has opinions, no one is expected to agree with everyone all the time. I certainly don't. If I only posted at forums where everyone agreed with me I'd never post. Please don't be scared away because you have your own opinion. :( -

My complaint isn't that the DO is a different height, it's that it's small. Had it been that much taller than the rest I wouldn't be complaining.

Big Bang theory officially comes out August 1st- but has anyone seen it for sale already? Do stores normally sell it early? -
I believe Dark Bluish Grey is what is currently used. There is a small but noticeable difference, especially if the two colors are next to each other. Sometimes piece is only in one color or the other and you just make do. In the above picture the arch is light grey and the rest is light bluish grey. Sorry I don't have an example of dark grey.
