It's got the same functionality as this one ('cept without Power Functions). There's 189 parts in all (cf. set #8009).

There are two control knobs at the rear (the head spins manually). One deploys the third leg, tilts the chassis forward and keeps the legs level:

The other deploys and operates a grabber arm:

Like it! Maybe needs some micro panels to fill some gaps but I don't know if they're in white. Both functions seem to work great.

Thank you! 'Twas a pain to fill in the back area. Those 9L links move as the third leg is deployed, to keep the feet balanced; unfortunately that means the central has only 5 studs of clearance.

Zblj; considered some options like that, but didn't want to System it up too much, to keep in consistent with most similarly-sized sets.
