That looks excellent, nicest custom Cap I have seen. Now how about his WW2 suit and Winter Soldier?

Thanks, Piranha! The WW2 Suit was made by Christo already and he is also planning on releasing a Winter Soldier pad printed fig very soon. But, both should compliment this fig well. I have the Christo First Avenger version and he looks excellent, you can see my picture review of him here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/phoenixcustoms/12619921624/

How much is he going to be going for? If you'd rather not say in the thread I'd appreciate a PM :)

Sorry I had to remove the picture above, but the Chinese knock off companies tried to steal my design (luckily they only had the front and did a crappy job printing it). I'll post it again once I officially release the fig on my site. I apologize guys, but it had to be done.

This is starting to get ridiculous, I mean why don't they go after designs that haven't been made, I mean C'mon they have to trace the designs, so they must have design artist on their side. How hard is it to take something from the games that hasn't been made yet. The effort is the same and their rep would go ever so slightly up with us.

Plain stupid.

Adam the Minifig looks excelent, first one of your lot I'm tempted to get.

The figure on the SY set is a very pale comparison to your version. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I've got the SY set on the way for a couple of the figures alone and there was no way I was going to NOT get your version instead of theirs.

Quality figures will always win out although the bootleg companies are now cloning things very quickly from official sets and also the new DeCool leaflet shows a Punisher and Bullseye which look like complete copies from customisers too.

DarkKnight7, heads up, your pictures of it are on google so people could still copy your minifig.

Ah, thanks for the heads up, Ryker_Hill, last time I checked it wasn't showing up! I'll contact the admins here and see if they can do something about getting rid of the residual image (because when you click on the link, it leads to a blank error Flickr page).

Well, now that I got word from the printers that it will be sent next week, it's no big deal that the pics are up now. I figure it will be for sale on my site by next weekend so there shouldn't be any issues, not yet at least :sceptic:

That is one great Cap! I just became a owner of your Gambit Kinetic Man, which is awesome. But the Cap is not far away from that one!

PM me about the price, too please!

So am I... Mine is ordered. If you'd like I'll ask Adam to include another one in the parcel if he's happy to do that? I'll just charge £1 for postage if you arrange payment with Adam for the figure?

I know Adam can answer this but I thought I'd give an answer.

Pad printing is done by specialist printers... Normally for promotional items such as pens, stress toys etc...

I've got about 5 or 6 designs I'd love to get printed but the cost in the UK is quite high for the right quality of print and the amount of colours needed for these figures.

I've had quotes from US printers that have been much more reasonable.

Great! How do you pad print these figures?

I was able to find a printer over the internet in the US who was able to print many colors and at runs of as small as 100 if I wanted, which is rare. They have lots of experience pad printing, and this shows in the low number of misprints I've had. Key is you just have to do some searching around and try to find companies that are local, as shipping your figs printed can get costly. The biggest issue is to know that it costs quite a bit, especially the more colors/printed parts have in your design. So, pad printing is more for people who plan to sell lots of them, as it's just not possible to print in low numbers and make enough money to expand, or even recover your up front costs.

Yep, some figure that will definitely NOT come in an original set ;) I LOVE that Cap, but I have 2 official ones, so I am saving money on that I guess :-/
