kris kelvin Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) Well, this is my latest work. A fantasy-style tower. It has long looong story which includes such fantastic moments like some guys in our exhibition smashed it into pieces :D Well after all here it is: All pictures here: Enjoy :) It`s circa 1,4 meter high. This is my tribute to three of my favorite towers: Col du Mont by Brody: www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=186646 The Tower in the Lonely Wood by JoJo: www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=46446 Tower of Brothers by Karwik: www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=400468 Edited September 18, 2013 by kris kelvin

soccerkid6 Posted September 18, 2013 Amazing build! The sheer size is impressive, but the detailing is also superb, I really like the wooden sections in the tower and the landscape sets the build off well
Trance89 Posted September 18, 2013 That tower is very impressive and has a good fantasy look. The landscape around it is great as well and really adds to the atmosphere. What color are those vines? I can't tell. They are dark green. It's just the light which makes them look like they are of an other shade of geen.
kris kelvin Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) Ello. Thanks for all this nice comments. It`s always nice Tower is 1,4 meter high, and this leaves are dark green as mentioned above. When we were preparing our exhibition in Rzeszów some nice gentelmen from museum "helped me" (they dropped glass on elements of this tower): So I have to use some slave labor to rebuilt Credit to all slaves: Nexus Jatboy LL Greenblue Sikorka Edited September 19, 2013 by kris kelvin
mpoh98 Posted September 20, 2013 Ouch, that would be a pain to rebuild....
TheLegoDr Posted September 20, 2013 Brilliant work. Very impressive scale and detail. I love the landscape at the bottom. That really stands out, but so does all of the detailing and angles used against each other. I've considered doing a Rapunzel-style tower from Tangled for my daughter and I could imagine I could take some good cues from this. Keep up the great work! I'll never understand why people like to "destroy" their builds, but to each their own.
Niku Posted September 20, 2013 OMG this is incredible, is just amazing, it surely must have been quite a job to do it. Fantastic job.

Jorrith Posted September 22, 2013 Love the bit sinister look of it, it would definatly fit into a dark farytale. The smashed build pic brings back memories too... older sister smashing up my lego builds for some reason i cannot remember... Well it's way better than getting chased by an angry sister with a kitchen knife... (me and my older sisters did not get along that well in our youth, but that passed when we became adults)
