Hi

In my first posting i want to show you a little MOC from last year.

It's a small PF scissor lift. Last week i made some photos in the garden.

That's it, i hope you like it.

Hi,

I like it but I think it needs more stability and maybe some outriggers. The technic figure looks a bit worried when you drive it in it's elevated position.

WOW, this is really neat! Very tidy use of IR and LiPo. Micro motor as well for steering. Excellent

It does look a little bit "dangerous" but Lego is plastic after all, so I think its good.

Having used a 12 meter Scissor lift at work, I can confirm they don't have outriggers, and they do wobble like that at full height, especially when you drive them. I think it's quite accurate.

Hi

exactly. The Lego thing would need outriggers but real things do not have them. They got the stability from the mass on the ground.

I know you could drive them expanded but are you allowed to do this?

First of all:

Thank you all for your comments! It's nice to read that!

I repaired such kind of lifts (6 to 41 meters) at work when i built this MOC.

I dont think that it needs outriggers overall. You are allowed to drive the real machine at maximum height but there are sensors which adjust the speed. In fact they slow it down for safety.

My Lego Modell doesnt tip over when i brake from fullspeed at maximum height. Its more stable than it looks in the Video.

Sorry for my bad english.
