Cuusoo Lego Star Wars TIE variants

That looks fantastic. It looks like the new cockpit piece works better on the TIE/in that the standard TIE. I hope your cuusoo project is succesful.

Hi,

Sorry, I did not realise this thread was still live. The designs are still being tweaked, PM me if you want the LDD file to take a crack at making one. I have almost got all the parts to build the Avenger, a number of my designs use techniques developed for the Avenger, so if the Avenger works with real bricks, that will finalise my other models. If anyone makes one of these, may I please have photos of the complete model for my Cuusoo page?

I have put some new models up and tweaked my designs if anyone is interested:

They look excellent! I love the royal guard fighter. I didn't realize that the wings were different to the standard TIE/in.

Used Cornwaille's LDD file, although it's a little different, to build the TIE Interceptor and almost finished it today, love the looks of it but it's in no way 'swooshable' :p

The wings fall off so quickly, gets kinda irritating, but i dont really have a clue how to fix it.

Maybe i can post some pics tomorrow.

Found a way to make the wing more stable, had some old hinges laying around, and it worked out quite nice.

I have used the 1x2 clips from the TIE fighter, but the gray parts around the wings don't stay in position, so they have to be replaced by hinges.

Have made some pics, but i don't know how to post them

Used the image-option in the toolbar, but it doesn't work, so here is a link to my Flickr

Hi all,

Sorry for the necro post, but i just want to say that your lego models are so much more polished than the original ones i cant begin to say.

And i echo the above comment about wishing to build one. I have supported the Cuusoo/Ideas page however i dont think they will be successful unfortunatly. Thats a real shame... :(

Hi guys! I know I'm a little late to this party, but I was wondering in anyone could provide me with the LDD file for some of these? I'm mainly looking for the Tie interceptor, but any others would also be cool. Cornwaille hasn't been on for nearly a year so I don't think there's any chance of that. I tried brickshelf but I cant get in right now... Thanks for any help!

The files are the built models, but you can get a parts list by running it through LDD manager. Then you can upload that to BrickLink and order parts there. That's what I did for my Interceptor.
