Hoexbroe Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) V-LV-26B Hi all, Casrs 9 and 10 are finished. Say hello to the yellow twins Patty and Selma; 1955 Checker Marathon The cars are not simple constructions; For example each car has around 16 headlight-bricks and 14 jumper-plates, in order to get a high amount of details in these 6-wide vehicles. A comparison (for scale) with the original lime cruiser; The cabs are 4 studs shorter and rides half a plate higher. Edited May 29, 2012 by Phred

L@go Posted May 20, 2012 (edited) Comments welcome, as I have the feeling almost nobody is actually sseing this...¿? What makes you say that? Your topic has, as of now, 2226 views since you made the first post in March :) I love the new fire truck - it's so full of detail. Very nice to see a car from you that can actually hold a minifig, too. The scale is just about perfect. Now, when will you be revealing some more details about this MegaMOC of yours...? Konajra Posted May 20, 2012 Wow, great firetruck. I always envy builders that can create vehicles in minifig scale that are just spot on. I've tried it several times but was never satisfied with wath came out of my hands. All of your cars are so well build. A pleasure to look at.
Hoexbroe Posted May 23, 2012 V-LV-26C 12th car ready; 1956 Chevrolet Corvette; This small thing is 5-wide. What do you guys think of my attempt at white-wall tires¿? Ciao
lightningtiger Posted May 23, 2012 Oh, I missed that fire truck and now that 50's convertable - AWESOME work again from you 'Hoexbroe' !
AussieJimbo Posted May 23, 2012 So many fantastic new vehicles since I last posted. The yellow cab, the fire engine, the Corvette. Great work, Hoexbroe. :classic:
Hoexbroe Posted May 23, 2012 Oh, I missed that fire truck and now that 50's convertable - AWESOME work again from you 'Hoexbroe' ! So many fantastic new vehicles since I last posted. The yellow cab, the fire engine, the Corvette. Thanks guys! Yeah... I have been moving quite fast... But I think the production will slow down a little now; I am beginning to miss necessary key-parts. So until next BrickLink order... Damn!
gotoAndLego Posted May 23, 2012 Love the Vette, but I think that red cheese slope at the back needs to be one stud forward.

L@go Posted May 24, 2012 Like I said on Flickr (but don't mind repeating here), I think the Vette is just about perfect.
prateek Posted May 24, 2012 Wow! This is probably the best collection of minifig scale cars on the web! One question though: I've built a 5-wide similar to your Corvette, but I was wondering how you make the interior? I can't find space for an interior without compromising the structural integrity. Any tips?
Hoexbroe Posted May 24, 2012 (edited) Wow! This is probably the best collection of minifig scale cars on the web! One question though: I've built a 5-wide similar to your Corvette, but I was wondering how you make the interior? I can't find space for an interior without compromising the structural integrity. Any tips? Thanks. The interior is only 3 studs wide, so the car can hold a single fig. I think it looks better with no fig inside, so I will display it with the driver standing beside the car... Structural integrety is not compromised, but then again the interior is not very accurate anyway. That kind of detail is the last thing I do, and has rather low priority. BTW. Here´s a photo of the whole collection so far; Edited May 24, 2012 by Hoexbroe
Hoexbroe Posted May 27, 2012 V-LV-27D 13th car added. 13th... This number has the same amount of luck wich befell the prototype car too; 1958 Ford Edsel; Picture for comparisson; I found that only 2 headlights made it look more prototypical; The Edsel with some other 50´ies inventions; Ciao! gotoAndLego Posted May 27, 2012 They're all quite nice.
Tanotrooper Posted May 29, 2012 They all look excellent, but the curves on the hood of the firetruck are amazing! Keep up the good work. Gaetano

JopieK Posted May 29, 2012 Really nice! I like the 2CV the best!!! Keep on MOCcing!
Hoexbroe Posted May 29, 2012 Wow, I´m on the front page!!! That´s so cool. Many thanks to the EuroBricks Team! (-and especially to Rick!) Thanks to all for the nice comments! Last years MegaMOC (2011) counted 20 vehicles (not including the two PF trains and 6 waggons), so I hope to go to 30 on this one, and there should be a single train also... What more to say... The 14th vehicle is coming along nicely. But it´s absolutly HUGE, and will take some more time to finish... "What is the single-most iconic public transportation bus of the US?" Capn Frank Posted May 29, 2012 All of these MOCs are superb so far. I love the Delorean and Ecto-1. Keep them coming. 1955 Seagrave Fire Truck (Genereic); My only criticism for this MOC is to use a different brick for the light on top. I would use this one:
