Henchmen4Hire Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) From the fun shoot 'em up game Wasteland Angel (www.wastelandangel.com) I think they were aiming for a Ford Mustang Coupe body, pretty cool. -I think the pipes on the side should be made with flexible tubing -The bars in front should be made with flexible tubing -Stickers for the metal plating on the windows -Sticker to finish the red stripe on the hood -For spikes, drilling some holes in the wheelguards to stick in white tooth pieces would work Edited January 27, 2012 by DrNightmare

JackJonespaw Posted January 27, 2012 Very nice! I like the rows of cheese slopes in the back!
Henchmen4Hire Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) Thankss folks! Had to change a few pieces to make this buildable -1x2 cheese slopes had to all be changed to 1x1 slopes since they're the only Dark Red available -The two 1x4 slopes aren't available in Dark Red :( Have to paint those -The 2x4 tiles aren't available in Dark Red so I changed them accordingly -Probably going to change the hood scoop to Metallic Silver (no Dark Red) -Mudguards... no Dark Red! Going to get Dark Bley and drybrush the Dark Red for a worn appearance -Windows have to change of course -Reconfigured the rear end, the lights and 1x1 brick were just hovering in place, oops lol Now to work on the insides... CptMugwash Posted January 28, 2012 Reminds me of the movies Death Race, Cool car, I'm sure it'll rock in bricks.
Henchmen4Hire Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) Updated picture -Added interior, a few clips to hold weapons (no passenger seat) and a green button to activate a nitrous burst :) Now I have to watch Death Race because those cars look sick! Quick Death Race version haha Edited January 29, 2012 by DrNightmare
-zenn Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) Oh man, looks better in black. You should really watch DR1 and DR2, some sweet ride in those movies. Just <3 Pachenko's '66 Buick Riviera... Edited January 29, 2012 by -zenn
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) I accidentally built the Dreadnaught instead! I'll work on this Buick tonight Edited February 7, 2012 by DrNightmare
Henchmen4Hire Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) Long time no show, finally got around to fleshing out (bricking out?) this beauty. Just a few more pieces and it's completely assembled, but I'm going to have to paint a few bits since they don't come in Dark Red x_X Also, probably going to use some GI Joe miniguns to mount on the hood, or maybe cut up some rods and work something out. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m178/nightmareparallax/lego/sc1.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m178/nightmareparallax/lego/sc2.jpg Edited August 4, 2012 by DrNightmare
TenorPenny Posted August 3, 2012 Very dangerous looking build! A little blocky, but it makes it look all the more sturdy.
soccerkid6 Posted August 3, 2012 Sweet car, looks a lot like your source material
purpleparadox Posted August 3, 2012 It's awesome to see someone actually go through with brick-building their LDD project! I'm not familiar with Wasteland Angel at all, but it looks like it's coming along really well.
Faefrost Posted August 3, 2012 For the spikes along the wheel wells look at some of the Bionacle parts available. They may work well without having to modify or destroy any parts.
Henchmen4Hire Posted August 4, 2012 Thankssssss folks! I looked through the bionicle parts but nothing works without horribly ruining the car's shape. The cleanest solution is to just drill the little holes to pop in some of these barbs Also, building this seems to have made me more destructive than usual when it comes to LEGO, I already sawed a few plates in half and broke off a few pegs because I didn't want to make another bricklink order and waste more money on shipping. Why spend 4 bucks on shipping to get a bunch of 1x2 when you can just cut your 1x4s in half
Si-MOCs Posted August 4, 2012 Hey it's the crane again! hehe. Looks fantastic in real life... but yeah... some spikes would look great! hehe that's an awesome engine BTW. (BTW could you please resize your picture to 800 or less?)
