Syn Posted February 10, 2011 hey that's great! I don't normally like smaller houses but this is great! I like it, it's so much more complete than all the other smaller houses. If they would put more elements like what you have (tv, storage area, kitchenette, ext) in the Smaller LEGO houses I would be more inclined to buy the small house sets! great job! Zorbas Posted February 10, 2011 Nice work Helena, a small and cozy country house. The bedroom wall technique you've used for having access there is clever .
lightningtiger Posted February 10, 2011 Such a cute little house with some clever features i.e. the bedroom in the loft ! Lovely work 'HeLena' and keep on MOCing !
XimenaPaulina Posted February 11, 2011 Very nicely done house HeLena! I really like the serenity of this simple and sweet build. It really looks like a cozy house to live in. Well-done compact interiors with all the necessary elements packed in. Good job!
HeLena Posted February 11, 2011 Thank you very much. I don't like my yellow bricks, I'd better do this house from tan or brown bricks. I'm going to buy a creator set with brown bricks.
SilentMode Posted February 11, 2011 Another excellent MOC, especially at night! By any chance did you use parts from the beach house set?

Naylus Posted February 17, 2011 Small, but nice. The house is definitely a very nice addition to a larger town. =) The light on the upper floor is curious. Is it the light-brick of some sort?
Corioso Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Good work, HeLena, a nice house. And the The TV table is with the Russian flag! Very patriotic! Edited February 27, 2011 by Corioso
Alibabo Posted February 27, 2011 Hi! I really like it , just there is two thing that i cant understand: - Why did you use 1x2x2 transparent panel? I think the white window frame in the same size would be better. - The movable roof wall is really nice, but I dont understand, why is it good? (picture 5th ) And a tip: If I were you I would put a little tree into the garden. Good job
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 27, 2011 Very nice little chalet. I like the furnitures and the notes near the TV! The picture in the dark is awesome
CptMugwash Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Very nice little cottage. I made a similar house, which is in storage I must upload it when that shed is finally finished. Mine is slightly bigger on a 16x32 baseplate with a small driveway but same kinda style and colours, I was lazy and didn't put a bedroom in it, the minifig sleeps on the couch lol I used the beach house set bricks, shame it isn't available now. Lovely little house, cosy and I love the lighting, might have to give that a try sometime Edited February 27, 2011 by CptMugwash
Brickstarrunner Posted February 28, 2011 OH! Oh my God, oh my God, oh my GOD! Being a man, this little house brought out the little girl inside of me. Not only is the outside flora cute, but it also works with the house design. Now the house is the main prize. The starkness of the bright yellow goes very well with the neutral white. the interior may be small, but it is very well organized. The downstairs contain the necessities; Food and entertainment, while the upstairs contains storage and the sleeping quarters. (Restrooms must be located in the outhouse not included, right? ) And to top it all off... SQUEEEEEE IT LIGHTS UP!!! I like to think of this house as a 5 Star Dinner. The little shrubbery in front acts like an appetizer. It entices you to have more while giving you a nice start. The main course is the house. Fulfills everything you need; Its cute, it all has a use, and it is small. As a dessert, it would be the lighting, giving you a nice finish to such a wonderful dinner.
