Small, but nice. The house is definitely a very nice addition to a larger town. =) The light on the upper floor is curious. Is it the light-brick of some sort?
-
I never built anything that detail. Probably because I don't have so many bricks to use for pavement and other even surfaces. But still I like this style, though Classic Town is still my favorite.

Museums is my passion. It's always good to visit one whether You stay home or travel abroad. Seeing one in Lego is also something of an amazement...
-
Yeah, Lego knew how to make a really nice house. I guess they are coming back to the idea of good old 80' I myself have 6349 Holiday Villa, probably from the same time as this one. It's a bit simpler than 6374, but I still love it. About a year ago I also bought 6370 Weekend Home, also a very nice set from 80-90s... This set has one advantage: the lady here has the VERY RARE pigtails (I guess they're called like that) hair, that CANNOT be found in any set of today.

This is really beautiful. I even sent the link to some of my friends and colleagues, that have nothing to do with Lego, but still were amazed by the scale and detail of this work. Having little space for the city of my own, as well as making the whole train loop at the table at the same time with other sets, I was thinking of making multi-level streets as well. Though one of the problems - would be the lack of necessary blocks and columns underneath the streets. =) By the way is there smth else under the buildings, some sewers or collectors?

Lack of doors in modern Lego trains is a big shame to tell at least. I know, there are... reasons why the wouldn't be any doors at all. But yet again - there's no excuse. :) Cimddwc made a superb improvement to this train - there's no doubt. I'm on a way of improving 7897 and its notorious nose, and I also dreamed of adding some doors, though I never thought this aspect so thoroughly. The doors You made for this train are a work of art. Impressive, really impressive!

I really hope, that this year Lego start developing smth like monorail. That's most unlikely of course, but I still dream of such a train to be released one day. I hear there are some complications regarding re-vitalizing the existing monorail system, but everything can be solved, so why not? Yeah, they released 8404, but it's still a very different thing. No rails, sorry...

Oh, this is amazing. The building really look awesome together, and you have my fav. 4554 there. Not sure about 7997, I never really was fond of new train sets...
-
My favorite is 4554, though I never had any stations (mainly because I bought a train not so long ago). But that yellow one looks really great, it had as much detail as it should. Everything at the right place. I don't think other sets are bad, but I consider this one to be a genuine one indeed.

It's seem very interesting. Though it's still under construction it's definitely already has a look of the real Fire Station, that is shown on the photo. The cars are amazing too. Ricecracker, are You going to show your work to the Fire Brigade staff, when it's done? :)
-
I don't like Fire and Police stations (but I still have Police and Fire brigade in my Lego Town), I mean the buildings - mainly because they have only one functionality... The Police is Police and nothing else. As for other buildings - they can be shops and apartments, museums and restaurants, etc. - sometimes two in one. But this work proves, that somehow I'm wrong. :) This isn't just the Fire Dept., but is also a piece of art. =) It looks like a building, that would also be interesting for some tourists and historians. Well, I guess. I really appreciate the fact, that the station is made in the my favourite style - Old Classic Town.

Fantastic! This work is indeed really impressive. It looks even better than the up-coming Grand Emporium. Well, I'm not much into modular house, though I do have one, but still I must admit, that such things look very beautiful, and the ones created by fans are even better. I see You used Starbucks Coffee, the emblem I mean. The Lego changed all the signs with Humans to signs with Lego minifigs. Though it would be fun to see the Starbucks Coffee logo with a minifig instead of that lady ;) , but still the building is nice as it is.

Nice town. But I would add several medium buildings near the main square. The beach part is one of the best I think. Maybe because it's really frozy now and many people are longing for warm weather and sun. :)

This work is one of the vest, no doubt. I really like the japanese style, but the idea with the lamps inside is awesome! I've always wanted to make a town with lights, but unfortunately I don't have the proper details for that.

Wow! A haunted house! Impressive work there. I agree, that a ghost should be included in this one.
