brickfoot Posted July 30, 2010 I Have decided to do another Micro scale model. Since the Millennium Falcon is my second favorite ship I decided to try building it.\ Heres a few pictures.
prateek Posted July 30, 2010 That's puny! I like it Maybe some colour will make it better.

lightningtiger Posted July 30, 2010 Aw, isn't cute........AWESOME micro designing there 'brickfoot'.....what's the part count....looks low to get a great looking MF eh ? You caught every angle just about spot on - great job 'brickfoot' and I'm a conformist! !
Skafte Posted July 30, 2010 (edited) I built a similarly scaled MF for the Epic Scene Contest (my late entry will be posted eventually). For that I used one of these: I think it worked pretty well. EDIT: I guess this would be even better: Edited July 30, 2010 by Skafte
Darth Yogi Posted July 30, 2010 I like it. Its tiny and cute, maybe if you do decals you could ask for a decal on the wish list. Great job!
prateek Posted July 30, 2010 Where would I add color? I think what I meant was change some of the pieces to lt. grey.
OneSnowTrooper Posted July 30, 2010 It's good, esp for the amount of parts.
brickfoot Posted July 30, 2010 what's the part count 23 pieces.
XimenaPaulina Posted July 31, 2010 Nice diminutive Falcon! Very recognizable for such a tiny build. Good job once again.
Big Cam Posted July 31, 2010 Haha, now that is just awesome. You nailed the shape.

Praiter Yed Posted July 31, 2010 This is way too big! - It needs to be small enough to fit in the micro-hanger of your micro-Death Star But seriously, really nice work! IMHO I think it could be improved if you could use a 1x1 cone as the cockpit instead of the tap. I don't know how you would do this, but I bet You could

I will try to change the the cockpit like you said. Heres a picture of what it looks like compared with the old one. New Old Which one do you like better? Brickdoctor Posted July 31, 2010 Personally, I like the older one; the 1x1 with studs on 4 sides just looks out of place in the new one. I do recommend the Infiltrator 4x4 parabolic plate, and I would change the 1x2 wedge bricks next to the engines to the curved variety.

I have the Infiltrator plate I just can't find it. Is this what you meant when you said I should change it to the curved variety.
prateek Posted July 31, 2010 (edited) I like the new one much better. The curved pieces on the back look better than the slopes Edited July 31, 2010 by prateek
BrickClick Posted July 31, 2010 I agree with Prateek that the new one looks way better, Now you just need to find those curved pieces in light bley... Good job
brickfoot Posted July 31, 2010 I like the new one much better. The curved pieces on the back look better than the slopes Yeah I like it better too so I'm going to order some in light bley.
Brickdoctor Posted August 1, 2010 (edited) I like the older version better too. I have the Infiltrator plate I just can't find it. Is this what you meant when you said I should change it to the curved variety. Yes. Much smoother now. Awaiting the redo in light bley. EDIT: Would a pair of binocs look too big as the dorsal turret? Praiter Yed Posted August 1, 2010 I agree that the 1x1 cone didn't work, I think it stuck out too far from the hull and didn't quite match the scale - thanks for indulging me. At first glance I wasn't too sure about the curved pieces at the back either but when I imagine them in light bley I think it will look cool - I hope you left your previous BrickLink order open
Solscud007 Posted August 23, 2010 Could I see what is under the hood/dish? I would like to make one myself.
