The only reason Germany beat Argentina was because Fate was intrigued by my suggestion of a Netherlands/Germany final. I didn't catch the last half of this match. Both teams played well, but Spain pressed the attack and forced the Germans onto the defense, but the Germans held off the Spanish. I'd heard it was nil-all at half time but I've just now arrived and learned that Spain won. Shocker! Still, they were the favourites early on, weren't they? On the other hand, there's a Bavarian triple-cream cheese from Germany called Cambazola that I like, too. Historically, though, the Netherlands should beat Spain.
