It is one more very rare motor from my "collection"
Now I would like to sell it, but I do not know how much can it cost.
How much can I ask for it?

Story: These transparent motors were made in Hungary  (where the all Mini-motor were produced). When the LEGO sold the company, the all workers got one pcs from this transparent and gold-colored motors as memories.  Only about 50-150 pcs were produced.

The motor is in good condition, well working and never used

Place it for $200-300 on bricklink and wait until some obsessed collectors grab it.

BL aka TLG will not like that, so don't bother

Given that Lego is meant to be at least in part an educational toy, hasn't TLG missed a trick not making regular transparent motors, so people can see what's happening inside them? I would have thought many people would love this.

Yes, people love, but the fact is that actually tere is not much to see.

Also when to the motors run, these boxes do not look as much cristal clear as you might think.

In my case I've "gold" and "silver" colored versions.

Still need to find the time to take photos from my prototype and 3D printed pre-production elements, as requested in the other thread.

Wow that is incredible

Hi,

Let's not revive such an old topic, unless you have something important to add.
I have hidden your similar reply in the second, also old, topic.

Thanks.

I'm with those who say have clear housings for motors (and pneumatic pistons and LAs). One good thing about having transparent housings is so the curious amongst us need not break those assemblies just to see what's inside ...
