What to add?

Frontpaged - nothing more to add. Despite all the wild discussions around here - I believe being frontpaged on EB is a very great honor - and: With distinction.

One question, Emanuele: Are you getting wider? :innocent: Because I heard size does matter ... somewhere else here:head_back:

Honestly: In the Technic forum they said, the larger the scale, the higher the responsibility (of making it right, I guess). You made it right. Absolutely right. What a truly wonderful model.

Congratulations! On your ingenious design and skills that is.

The frontpage - well - what can they do about it. They have to follow the rules:excited:

All the best!

Thorsten

Beautiful model. Very well proportioned like the prototype. Congratulations for being frontpaged, deservedly so.

ÖBB 1020  or MWB 1020 have nice liveries, which could be done in classic red or blue/yellow LEGO parts.

About getting wider, I don't want to be crude ...but sometimes it happens

Jokes aside thank you very much for your kind words!

I agree, when a was a Child I dreamed to say that one day lego trains would be more beautiful and playable than H0 :classic:

I like historical locomotives, not just from Germany. And in Earth Green, the BR 194 is even more a dream.

You first create a good crocodil, now Lego brings the 10277 crocodil.
Can someone tell LEGO we want THIS BR 194 as rebrickable model of the 10277?

Just came across this through a link in the 10277 discussion thread.
This is one of those MOCs which I think really deserves all the praise it gets - it truly is amazing.  The most impressive MOCs, I find, are ones where at first glance you can’t tell if it’s LEGO or not.  Trains, I find, are also especially difficult.  You have created a train MOC that doesn’t look like LEGO - a particularly impressive MOC in my mind.  Also - what part do you use for the lights?

Not the main topic of this thread, but another amazing MOC.  I inherited a load of model trains, including one of these in HO scale, so I can compare it - but mine’s not in the best condition.  It’s pretty vintage, plus it survived a house flood, so is not in the best condition...
