It's just a teaser for the next CMF series, not a Batman one.

No it's for Series 17. We also know the CMF Series past Series 17.

I guess they'd both to be easy to give proper bodies to in a custom fashion.

Read a very interesting theory on brickset.

In this set review, a member named johnboy_walton says in the comments that

he noticed Catwoman and Mayor McCaskill have the same beauty spot, which could very well mean that they are the same character.

I noticed that what he said was correct. Could it be LEGO accidentally revealed a spoiler in one of their sets?

The CMF Crazy Scientist seems like it was a trial run for Dick Grayson's glasses which makes me think a minifigure of Egghead is unlikely because his head is smooth yet the scientist has a stud on his.

^^^I was thinking the exact same thing as the guy who commented was thinking. (Turn around now if you dislike spoilers or do not wish to see them) And I also think as the film's director has revealed that all is not as it seems in the first dates trailer that batman falls in love with mayor mcaskill, not barbara. Check his tweets and he clearly says that this trailer might well be misleading.

I can't even find one store that would have a 2nd appearance of Batman CMF Wave 1. Talking Lego Store, Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Toys R Us, Kmart.

I would be interested in seeing what will make up the rumored Wave 2.
