I thought you were going to say you were going to make a version in real life. Disappointed now. 😜

That's a cruel thing to say to someone who no longer has access to a good fabric store thanks to predatory private equity. (Look up what happened to the Joann's chain last year for info.)

I hope the tuba player has a moulded instrument, rather than a brick-built one. I’m hoping we eventually get a range of orchestra instruments so I can build a concert hall. Currently building up my double bass (cello) collection.

The current mismatch between wind instrument moulds and stringed instrument moulds is quite something.

The only info the leaker gave on the tuba player is ‘new tuba’ so I’m assuming that means a new mold.

The fact that the leaker saw the ronin and thought it was Lloyd makes me wonder about their age

Which makes me feel old :/

Off, that’s true. That would be great if there is a new tuba mould.

What do you mean, their age?

So based on the current rumours, the ones I am most looking forward to see are the Elf Princess, Ronin and Bionicle Cosplayer. Monster Hunter and Witch could be good too if done well, though I am not getting my hopes up to much for them.

Robo T-Rex, Boba Cup fan and Goalkeeper are the ones I am least looking forward to.

I have a similar list.

Elf Princess

Witch (I hope its not too close to the DND witch, the BaM Witch from this past fall, or the Hocus Pocus minifigs. I want something new/unique)

Monster Hunter

Bionicle Cosplayer

I will probably pick up the garbage monster as well. Its something different.

Based on the description, I would say we can rule out that is is to similar to the DND witch, but more something like the BaM one (though of course it won´t be to similar, but for instance it also sounds like it will be a kid, a use of the hair/hat combo in a new colour seems also likely and I wouldn´t be surprised to see the skirt piece used too.

I know someone mentoring that unicorn elf is kids a coindience when there is Unicorn Castle set last year. But it seems that Monster hunter is also a coindinece brocade there is Haunted Manion from Creator 3-in-1 last year.

I’m very looking forward to see Monster Hunter, Elf Princess / Unicorn Elf, Mysterious Ronin, Robot T-Rex, Cute Witch, Bioncile Cosplayer.

I’m kinda glad that there are no animal costumes since we have Seires 28. I think I welcome Boba Tea Costume.

Aren't there like 5 different shapes for electric guitars?

Plus the acoustic guitar, banjo, lute, violin, and double base.

In contrast, I think the only mold for a woodwind instrument is the saxophone, although lego has printed the 4 length bar as a flute in the past.

Plus the keytar!
And honourable mention to the Lego bagpipes. ;)

there is also the existing old bugle that came with Western sets of old

Don't forget the ocarina!

New musical instruments are always welcome, but I feel like there are more winds that can look good when piece-built, versus strings.

Keytar is a variant of a piano, so actually a percussion instrument.

I'm not sure what you’d classify bagpipes as other than ‘outdoor instruments’.

Technically, the piano is also a string instrument. So a keytar that combines a keyboard piano and a guitar would be string/percussion. Even though it is electric and has no strings.

I will have no bagpipe shaming here!

There’s no shame in admitting the bagpipe is a noble instrument that was used on battlefields because it’s meant to be heard from several hills away.

We can also admit that the Lego bagpipes are an awesome part. That figure was iconic

26 was purple

And so was the TLM2 series, but I’d say both only count partially because neither had the typical question mark background design :shrug_oh_well:

Aye, it’s all fun and games until you have to use voice recognition interfaces.

bagpipes were a proper one&done piece, huh? Can’t remember them even showing up in BAM towers
