Group pic leaked

As I expected, kind of a meh series

The color is orange

And that IS Lloyd...

Can't say I'm enthused by any one fig, but there's a few neat parts in there. The skeleton fish & the nemo fish for starters. The tuba, the gunblade and the.. raccoon?

Diver looks okay, but it's not a must-buy. I do like reusing the idea of "hair for clip-on visors" like the old Spy at least.

Tube Player looks okay. Might get one for the tuba.

Chocolatier will just make me said that I chickened out last minute and didn't get the BPD Chocolate Factory set...

That witch would fit right in with Videyio. I like the hat mold, but too bright for me overall.

Soccer Player's a super easy pass (no pun intended).

I like the robo-rex. I'll get one.

Monster Hunter's weapon looks a little Brickarms custom-ish to me. I imagine it'll grow on me though. Probably get one.

Love that dead fish with the Trash Monster! Will probably get one.

Don't need food costumes, so pass on boba. At least the translucent costume is a change of pace.

Not a bonkle guy, but I'll get a Tahu if I can. He's unique.

Lloyd looks like Lloyd and feels like a wasted slot, frankly, It's not like Ninjago doesn't have lots of print and mold budgets. Probably pass.

Elf Maiden: "I'll take your entire stock!" Love her!

Overall, an okay series, - more misses than hits for me personally ,but at least I have a few to look forward to. Now to wait until we get the Shrek pictures!

Yes, this series has lots of nice parts but none of the minifigs are must-haves.

What animal is with the witch???

Now seeing the full line up:

Tahu is absolutely perfect, but is really the only one that's a must buy for me. Hopefully we eventually get the rest of the original Toa in future series.

I'm disappointed the Marine Biologist is another wetsuit since there's a lot of minifigs of that already but will still try and grab one for the snorkel hair and clown fish as well as one of the Unicorn Princess.

Probably will pick up Lloyd for parts but I'm not a fan of the green eye design and that hair/mask piece is super ugly IMO.

On the fence about the Monster Hunter.

Rest aren't appealing.

Looks like a cat to me. Possibly sitting down?

Yeah my money is on a new sitting cat mould. Nice to get some more feline diversity

yeah it's definitely a cat.

I personally find the entire series to be amazing! Even the more mundane figures.

Marine Biologist Is very much like the Series 20 Diver, just with a different animal. But I still enjoy it nonetheless - the clownfish is perfect.

Tuba Player is great! Always welcome to get a new instrument, but the render is funny since the tuba is on the complete opposite side of his face (I get it though, that view makes it easily recognized)

Chocolatier is basically the Series 17 Gourmet Chef but with a chocolate dragon. I never would have guessed that the next use of that dragon mold would be for chocolate! While I don't hate it, I am disappointed we haven't gotten any other variations of that mold. Would love to see some non-red baby dragons...

Cute Witch is perfect, quite possibly the best CMF witch variation thus far. Looks like maybe a cloth skirt? And the sitting kitty is definitely a welcome new mold!

Soccer Goalkeeper is easily one of the worst, but he has a nice unique expression, and the new soccer ball print is cool.

Trash Monster is also perfect - good re-use of the slime headgear. The bonefish I could see going into City builds at some point.

Robot T-Rex is warming up to me. I wasn't sure before the leak, but now I am surprisingly pleased with how well it reuses the T-Rex costume molds.

Monster Hunter is awesome! The hat/hair combo is well suited, and gunblade is for me an unexpected perfect choice.

Boba Cup Fan is within expectations, though the translucent costume is different.

Bionicle Cosplay Fan is my favorite. The silhouette translates rather well to minifigure form, and that mask is amazing.  I like Tahu a lot, and I do hope for the others of the original six, but I fear this will be a one-and-done.

Mysterious Ronin is obviously Lloyd with its green eyes. At first it feels incongruous, but at the same time Ninjago is such a popular theme that it makes sense we would see a more blatant homage to it within CMF at some point. We got Johnny Thunder in Series 19 and some older space themes in Series 26. I think it's just different since Ninjago is still a contemporary theme. The iteration here is extremely detailed, and if I know anything about spare parts, he will get a spare katana and a spare shuriken so he could potentially dual-wield either weapon.

Unicorn Elf is FINALLY the first non-themed CMF figure to use the newer dress slope. With the last series using the old slope being the Series 17 Elf Maiden, every other figure up until now that has used the newer dress slope is part of a licensed or movie-based series. That being said, I like her colors and love the unicorn!

Can't wait to find these in stores!

Maybe it’s not a cat or raccoon but a wolf puppy?

Anyway will get robo rex and bionicle man. I do love the fish bones piece, so might get that ugly faced trash monster too.

Not a big fan of this wave.

To me as someone who sees Minifigure series (especially the in-house ones) as collections of parts to be reused, this is a great looking series.

I love the elf lady, monster hunter, Lloyd and the garbage monster for their parts and accessories, and Tahu because he looks great and nostalgia.

Tuba player, witch and diver aren't amazing, but do have a couple of new parts each, so worthwhile I'd say.

The chocolate dragon is such a fun idea for an otherwise kinda dull chocolatier, but might be enough to throw is over the line for me.

Footballer is dull but I might rather pay for a whole figure than just for that hairpiece on PaB.

Trex and Boba person are my only definite nos, just not my area of interest.

I dont quite understand what the hairpiece with the Tuba Player is meant to be.

It's a marching band cap I think, with a little feather type thing on one side. Looks recognisable to me.

It's definitely a cat.  That is not a wolves snout.  Not a raccoon at all the coloring and features don't fit .

That style of hat is called a glen or glengarry. Origin is Scottish military.

The Unicorn Elf is going to be in high demand for sure, considering she actually comes with a unicorn foal!

Not any standout armybuilder Castle fig this time around, and not the most exciting series to me, below average I would say. However some nice parts even with otherwise uninteresting figs:thumbup:
That said it is great to get a new normal series again:sweet:

I can not keep up with all the wizard hats, is this a new mould on the witch? It so will probably pop up in HP soon. The skeleton fish probably in a set within a few months

soccer player were the absolute wasted slots. Is the latter more to tie up with some upcoming sets?

Maybe or just because of the world cup:shrug_oh_well:

For me, the whole series can be summed up as some nice accessories but poor figures.

Kinda disappointing that the leaker’s “willy wonker” description on the Chocolatier isn’t really accurate (maybe they got her outfit confuse with the Monster Hunter). Gonna have to debate whether I want that one since she’s got contemporary clothes.

The Cute Witch is even better than I thought – a new witch’s hat and hair and a new sitting cat mold!

The Marine Biologist isn’t that different from the series 20 one, but since I (and probably several other casual collectors) never saw a single case of series 20 back in early 2020 for obvious reasons, I’ll definitely be grabbing her.

Very happy for the confirmation that the Unicorn Elf comes with a unicorn foal. I will definitely be picking her up.

The Trash Monster has an amazing (and arguably long overdue) new accessory to got with its amazing prints, and the lack of visibility on the leaked rotten jack-o-lantern pretty much confirms it’s the head (frankly, ‘discarded Halloween jack-o’-lantern that’s possessed a trash heap to give itself a body’ is such a cool concept for a monster). Not really my cup of tea, but still tempting just because of how well it’s done, and I expect it to be a breakout favorite in a series with no real Castle army builders.

Kinda surprised there’s not more hype about the Monster Hunter. She’s not something I’m interested in personally, but her steampunk style clothing is pretty awesome and she comes with a new gun-knife for goodness sake.

The Tuba Player looks to have arm and side prints in addition to the new hat and instrument molds – making him pretty much the best marching band minifigure he can be. This actually is an army builder in case people forget – and it wouldn’t surprise me to hear of him just as picked off in some places because of City and Modular collectors wanting to put together their own marching bands and deciding they’d rather buy him in bulk instead of the purple jackets and shakos off pick a brick.

The choice to do the Boba Costume in a transparent color should look… interesting… in real life. I suspect nobody who wants her will have trouble finding her.

The Robot T-Rex is kinda lame due to reusing all the molds from the T-Rex Costume Fan and essentially being a repaint. But whoever created the new prints certainly did a good job and the battery accessory is pretty funny.

I’m not a Bionicle fan, but the Cosplayer certainly looks well done.

The Soccer Goalkeeper is rather bland and a tad insulting considering all the soccer based Icons sets Lego is putting out this year. I’m hoping his obscured lower half reveals he’s a para-athelete of some sort to keep up LEGO’s recent trend of disability representation and set him apart from all the licensed players they’re doing this year. Irregardless, I expect him to be about as popular as the Soccer Referee from a few years back.

Mysterious Ronin is obviously Lloyd – go home Lloyd, your theme is having an anniversary celebration you should be part of instead of crashing the party here.

I thought the same. If any of them is an army builder, it is likely to be this one. It is easy enough to replace the instruments to form a decent sized band. And buy the purple ones to have rival bands.

It is a leak, and you are not meant to post leaked images here.

I like the look of most figures but I’m a little disappointed the tuba player uses a concert tuba rather than sousaphone. I get it would have been more challenging to produce, but it’s more accurate for a marching context.

Not a bad wave.

Tahu is, undoubtedly, the standout. It is so cool that they made the Hau a unique mold. Would be really cool to see the same done for the other Toa Mata over the next few years, but I won't hold my breath.

Others I'll probably pick up are the Robo T-Rex, Monster Hunter, and Lloyd, although they're not quite as exciting to me.

The others aren't really my thing, ranging from solid to meh, but I'm sure there's those who will enjoy them.
