SNIPE Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) Here we go: So, teal with orange wheels Edited December 1, 2025 by SNIPE Quote
Paul B Technic Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Colours “work” and while not ground breaking, looks interesting enough. I’m guessing fake engine and HOG steering? Quote
Hehesz Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) So is the front axle just freely swinging? I don't see any shocks, but they seem to be the frame pieces so surely we get at least AWD this time right? The rear axle though looks more complex, on the back of the box you can see it's angled downward as well, with the differential exposed to the back. I'm hoping it brings something new for the scale so that it's not just a worse 42213 Edited December 1, 2025 by Hehesz Quote
Jundis Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 One more pic from reddit: Seems like a step back from the Ford Bronco... why use the tractor tires and not the way better suited heavy duty tires? Quote

Also the old shock absorber is still there so gone is my hope for more compact suspension pieces. Edited December 1, 2025 by Ngoc Nguyen Quote
Stereo Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) The middle layer of the rear axle seems to be a piece I don't recognize. Maybe a 3x5 frame? At least, it looks like it fits inside the wheel, rather than being spaced out from it a 1/2 stud. If it was a 5x7 then it should have 3 pinholes along the back edge and it doesn't. The other layers could be 2x3 frames or the same 3x5 rotated the other way. I guess a 3x5 L is possible but I'm not sure how you would build it into something secure that way. Zerobricks Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 I think it uses a new axle type in the rear, look at the color. Perhaps a 3,5 type with a stop. Quote

gyenesvi Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Oh well.. My first reaction was that it looks like a cartoonish toy car in a weird color :) Well, it's a toy after all, but something feels really off in the proportions; I think it's that the whole thing is too tall for the size, the fenders are too far above the wheels, and the wheels are too wide out to the side as well. Feels like a go-kart. They should have used the Bronco's tires to give it better proportions. And I don't get the orange rims either. I like the shaping of the hood though, and that it's like a safari version, definitely more recognizably Jeep-like than the previous one. There definitely seem to be some new interesting parts in the rear axle, so let's see what it brings in terms of parts! I don't think there's from wheel drive, that cross liftarm visible in the front axle would collide with a differential. 34 minutes ago, msk6003 said: on dark turquoise Can I ask you one correction? In English, it's always 'in' a certain color, not 'on'. So: in red, in yellow, in dark turquoise. You write this down way too many times, so it's time to do it properly :) Hope you don't mind, thanks! Quote
blondasek Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Kinda cute. A bit of nice look with a bit of detailing. Nothing exciting but not too bad. Quote
Bartybum Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Hey that's pretty cute. I wonder if the rear axle is live or if it's just like 42075 Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 It's probably a live axle based on a ball joint, the angle gives it away. Quote
roeltheworld Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 it isnt this hard to make a nice jeep, so the fact that TLG cant seem to make one just doesnt make sense. Surely they confer with Jeep to get permission to make a model? Cant believe Jeep signed off on this either. Quote

It would be 4.5, there's 1.5 studs past the wheel, 1 in the wheel, 1 in the beam behind it, and 1 to go into an axle connector. Or it could be 8.5 and go all the way into the differential. Or it's just a 5.5 that's brown for some reason. Quote
Oh_Hi_Mao Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 I think next 1:8 supercar will be in this colour. Aston Martin Valkyrie perhaps. Quote
R0Sch Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Absolutely horrible color scheme and again only the grill is printed because it's included 7x. At least it has a ball joint pivot for the rear suspension. Last time used in a Technic set was in 2021. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Surf's up! I like the colour scheme, personally. Considering Technic was among the first themes (if not THE first) to use teal, this feels like a homecoming of sorts. Also, there's a sticker featuring energy crystals next to the spare wheel. Rock Raiders reference? Going by the duck, it looks like Milan is the designer. Quote

Bartybum Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) The rear live axle is nice, but it's a shame about the front axle. If we're going to be hounded with nothing but small cars then for once in our lives TLG can we please get one that has solid axles in both the front AND rear? None of this pendulum BS please Edited December 1, 2025 by Bartybum Quote

None of this pendulum BS please Yeah, I actually modified my 42122 along with some mods from zerobricks to include suspension on all 4 wheels, 3 differentials, and 4 wheel steering. So lego don't have an excuse. Oh and it still had the front winch, There's even RC mods for it. Edited December 1, 2025 by SNIPE Quote
