  1. Don't have any expectations if you don't want to get hurt. RIP Technic 1977-2027, long live "Racers"
  2. It is bad for this scale but I am not even surprised anymore. TLG went to wrong direction, front of P1 looked nothing like P1, here they use printed headlights. Who stole talent from the designers?
  3. I don't know. Maybe sets are not reaching sales milestones. Flood of cars is showing that different licenses can cooexist. Some brand should pour a lot of money for exclusivity, time will tell.
  4. If that will add extra costs and won't pump sales - we should not expect that nice detail from TLG. But lets leave this for TLG market research team (or similiar corporate team) which is responsible for 2026 being Technic car year.
  5. By the end of 2026 TLG will retire literally every Technic construction vehicle. Even the 42215 Volvo excavator will be retired 7 months earlier compared to the initial plan. Volvo front loader, Volvo truck+excavator, even little backhoe loader - all will be gone leaving huge empty space in the Technic Lineup for 2027. I am not too confident that this gap will be filled with new construction vehicles.
  6. Printed headlights is something else on this scale. And yet gaps around the headlights are enormous, this should not be forgiven at this scale
  7. The longer I look at this model the more I see another car transporter gang member sneaked as an utility vehicle. Just a personal feeling
  8. You've picked one of the least hated cars of this Technic sub theme. What about Supra
  9. That is a bummer... Maybe for 50th anniversary we will get even more cars !
  10. We could still get sweet surprise two more cars under 42230 and 42237
  11. August wave used to be wave for large sets. Not this year
  12. I wonder if all lime panels/beams are available in orange
  13. I think designers were really trying hard to reduce amount of blue/red pins. Black pins are dominating the exterior which is a nice touch
  14. Steering, openable hood and pistons in another car shell/license. That's about it. As someone mentioned in the other topic, this may be saturation point.
  15. As a man who work corporate job, I can assure you they dont care about "fans" if sets for fans wont make a profit. At least this is the case for the highest evel management. There should be very dedicated upper level manager (with particular KPI's which wont make it easy) who should convince senior management with strong arguments in very short PPTs that sets for fans will sell. If it won't sell, person might not get yearly performance Bonuses - which is personal loss. I think when sales mementum for particular sets is lost, it is really hard to bounce back. And I am sure that sales charts for cars are very green and TLG leadership loving it
  16. Most likely because cars are selling very well and are enjoyed by many people outside the Technic community.
  17. Interesting - "Custom Garage" logo is not the same as for the official Ford department. It seems that official license for this set is only Ford. "Custom garage" logo seems to be Lego internal creation - it may be new Lego Technic Subtheme and we can expect similiar set for the other manufacturers
  18. This is 10+ set so it might be interesting for kids. But it better would be non licensed set because that Mustang looks really bad TBH
  19. So the technic functions are openable hood, openable doors, openable trunk, suspension, pistons, diff, maybe something generic which I forgot to mention. Another car-shell, nice. At least Skyline had drifting function and Rexy had "hydraulic" jacks. This should be icons set.
  20. Sorry, Styling should not be the most important part for TECHNIC set...
