If you temporarily put a 4274 in the holes of the 2444, you should be able to hang the side panels in place.
Also, the spikes on the wheels are turned the wrong side up. Flip them over.

Quote

2254 - Mountain Shrine - Theme: Ninjago
Errors:
1) Part 4117070 will not attach to 4619707; former part replaced with standard minifig head
2) Part 4551360 will not attach to part 4632572; added extra 1x1 round plate underneath former part to allow for connection
1) Good find. Please do however remove the minifig-head in your model, and put a 1x1 round brick on the ground instead - so that the part content is correct.
2) It seems it's an illegal design from TLG, since the scorpion will collide into some other bricks if using physical bricks. But still, I'd say it's a borderline case. In your LDD model though, please remove the 1x1 round plate you used (leaving the scorpions floating in the air). It's important that models are reproduced as accurately as possible, using no more, no less parts then is in the set (there are exceptions though, for example brick-built substitutions). If you don't want the scorpions floating in mid air, you can put them on the ground instead.

I can see in the thumbnail that you used the wrong helmet for Lord Garmadon. While this helmet (98128 in Titanium Metallic) would be correct in the 2012 sets, in the 2011 sets Lord Garmadon used part 30175 in Silver Metallic. Additionally, don't forget that the flames in the back of the truck can be dual-colored-- the base should be Transparent Red while the tips should be Transparent Bright Orange.

Finally, the two spheres in Lightning Dragon Battle should be colored Transparent Blue, not the azure color you used. To be fair, the actual color they use is labeled "multicombination", which means it's a blend of two colors-- in this case, probably Transparent Blue and Bright Blue, or possibly two different transparent blue colors, but on LDD this is not possible, and it might be better to just use Transparent Blue since that's the color I know for certain.

Yeah, I noticed that too now. It seems the chain links have small gaps between them that all add up. It's actually somewhat of "bug", since this won't allow you to use the chain as you could in a real model.
Hmm, this might account for the problems I had with the chains in 5976 River Expedition as well, since the instructions show that the chains should be able to stretch that far and still be loose rather than stretched tight, yet it does not work this way in LEGO Digital Designer.

7416 - Emperor's Ship - Theme: Adventurers / Orient Expedition
[Bricklink] [Brickset]

- sail7416 Cloth Sail Junk with Green Oriental Dragon Pattern is not included

7418 - Scorpion Palace (A Model) - Theme: Adventurers / Orient Expedition

7418 LXF

Errors:
- Missing/incorrect decorations
- 42688 Outer Cable 264Mm, Black has been substituted with 57274 Outer Cable 256MM, which is inflexible and cannot be properly attached to rest of the model
- 2586 Battle Shield cannot be dual-colored Black and Chrome Gold
- x127c21 String with End Studs 21L Overall has been substituted with 63141 String W. Coupl. Points 20M

- x88 Rubber Band (Square Cross Section) has been substituted with 85543 V-Belt 15, White, which is inflexible and cannot be placed on the model

And with that, I do believe, with the exception of those Kabaya sets without instructions, the entire Adventurers theme is now indexed!

A sailor went to sea, sea, sea to see what he could see, see, see...
And all that he could see, see, see was an Ogel Mutant Squid, a Rogue Knight Battleship, and a River Heist!

8968 - River Heist - Theme: Agents / Agents 2.0
[Bricklink] [Brickset]

Posted Image

8968 LXF

Errors:
- Missing/incorrect decorations
- 76254 Outer Cable 184MM is inflexible and cannot be attached to both 32192 Angle Element 135 Deg. [4] bricks
- Warm Gold, Drum Lacq is not included in LDD and has been substituted with Warm Gold

4796 - Ogel Mutant Squid - Theme: Alpha Team / Mission Deep Sea

4796 LXF

Errors:
- Missing/incorrect decorations
- 32506 Voodoo Claw is not included in LDD and has been substituted with a custom assembly
- Chrome Gold is not included in LDD and has been substituted with Warm Gold

8821 - Rogue Knight Battleship - Theme: Castle / Knights' Kingdom II
[Bricklink] [Brickset]

Posted Image

8821 LXF

Notes:
- "Pearl Light Gray" bricks are colored Cool Silver in this LXF, as Cool Silver was the color used at the time of this set's release. Later production runs of this set, however, might have used Silver instead.

Errors:
- Missing/incorrect decorations
- 2958 Technic, Disk 3 x 3 is not included in LDD and has been substituted with 47576 Wheel 17.6 W/Cross
- 32174 Link For Ball is not included in LDD and has been substituted with 60176 Ball Cup 10.2
- 57004 Wing W. Holes Ø 4,84 296/191 is not included in LDD and has been substituted with 51342 Wing w. holes Ø 4,84, which cannot be dual-colored Cool Silver and Flame Yellowish Orange
- 54175 Shell ظ 4.85 "No. 3" is not included in LDD and has been substituted with a custom assembly
- Cool Silver, Diffuse is not included in LDD and has been substituted with Cool Silver, Drum Lacq
- "Speckle DBGray-Silver" is not included in LDD and has been substituted with Cool Silver, Drum Lacq

According to BrickLink, 8821 Rogue Knight Battleship has way too many variations of silver in it.  Thank goodness for the Peeron Color List and Aanchir's LDD color chart!

EDIT: Weird, something got messed up in the formatting.  It should be fixed, now.
EDIT 12/11/12: Made a couple minor corrections to 8968 and 8821.  How come I never notice these minor errors until after I upload them?
EDIT 12/14/12: Made a few more corrections, as pointed out by Aanchir.
EDIT 1/2/13: Made a color correction to 4796.
EDIT 12/16/13: Updated 4796 to LDD 4.3.8.

Bricklink's inventory of the Rogue Knight Battleship is not all that reliable... it says Metallic Silver is used for the wings, when in fact parts blended with metallic silver do not and can not exist (Metallic Silver, a.k.a. 298 Cool Silver Drum Lacquered, is a surface treatment, not a plastic color). The wings are actually Flame Yellowish Orange blended with 296 Cool Silver. All the Pearl Light Gray parts in the set should probably be 296 Cool Silver, actually, since that was the silver color at the time-- unless the set is from a later production run in which case they should all be 131 Silver.

The 3x3 disk is actually on LDD-- it uses the alternate part number 2723 and is in the Gears category.

Something that might be helpful to builders in this topic is that Brickset now has parts inventories sourced from service.LEGO.com-- just check the "Parts" tab on any set's page. They're not 100% complete, but they can be a good place to check if you're unsure about the exact color of a piece-- though even they aren't flawless, particularly in years where colors were in transition, like 2005 and 2006. A plus to Brickset's inventories is that they use official LEGO color names.

Thanks for the pointers, Aanchir.  I was aware that Brickset's database uses the official color names, but I found that too many set inventories were incomplete to make any practical use for them... and here I was, thinking that I had finally found BrickLink to be a reliable source in conjunction with the Peeron color chart...

Also, what about the silver wheels in 7297 Dino Track Transport and 7476 Iron Predator?  Brickset lists them as Silver, and BrickLink suggests likewise, but if my memory serves me well (although it often does not), 2005 was the last year of one version of silver, with Cool Silver starting in 2006... and if Silver is the post-2006 silver, then what does that make the pre-2006 silver?  Oh, I'm getting myself boggled...

Well, I guess that means I'll be going back and doing some corrections, and not just to the two sets you referred to, but also to the Adventures Amazon sets including "Chrome Gold" elements.  Hopefully, one more set ought to be a fine compensation prize for you guys:

EDIT 2/1/14: Updated to LDD 4.3.8.

The post is regular, but the image is oversized for such a small set.
I call upon you to reduce the size of the thumbnail for small sets.

They were... there... the whole time?  I promise you that no sets have been added to edited posts after your first warning about River Expedition (which was the only time I edited in a set).  Besides, that post isn't even edited.

Done.  Just for future reference, what would you say is the "cutoff" that defines a small set (256x256 pixel thumbnails) from a large set (512x512 pixel thumbnails)?  For 1355 Temple of Gloom, I was unsure, since it was over 50 bricks (which, until now, was the "cutoff" that I was using as a rule of thumb).

It seems I was wrong then. That's strange, because I didn't found the entries in the database. Could be a database fault, some kind of error happened saving data.
Very strange, anyway, but the important thing is that I noticed the problem and inserted the sets.

The measures are provided only as a guideline (except the upper limit of 512x512px, that is categorical).
The size of the thumbnail should be assigned simply with common sense (reported to the 512px for big sets). I think that the image should be enough big to be noticed and the subject should be clearly visible, for the rest... as small as possible.
Your resize for the set 1355 is very good (a little bigger image would be good anyway), while I think your image for the set 4796 is too big still.

The history of silver elements is a complicated one. Basically, a rule of thumb is that Cool Silver was hardly used in any years other than 2006. It was introduced in 2006 to replace 131 Silver, but apparently it had even more consistency problems than the previous color did, and 131 Silver became the standard again in 2007.

The LEGO customer service database, from which Brickset derives its data, often lists parts from later production runs rather than the initial production runs, hence why so many 2006 sets have Silver parts listed in their inventories where the earlier production runs would have used Cool Silver. Similarly, there are a number of 2005 set inventories that list 297 Warm Gold in their inventories where the original production runs of those sets used 147 Metallic Sand Yellow or 189 Reddish Gold.

Obviously there is no foolproof way of getting the colors of sets right. Most of the time the most reliable method depends on knowing what the colors look like in real life and owning the sets in question. And even this can be unreliable in the cases of transparent colors, the more obscure of which can be difficult to differentiate from their more common counterparts, and metallic colors, which have historically had a great deal of inconsistency. In the particular case of Cool Silver vs. Silver, Cool Silver parts tend to be lighter in color, but of course since it was inconsistencies in Silver that caused Cool Silver to be introduced in the first place, this is not always a hard and fast rule.

Then again, because of its short lifespan, Cool Silver is probably one of the least important colors to get right 100% of the time. 2006 sets can conceivably be built with either Cool Silver or regular Silver and still be considered "accurate". As long as you're not using Cool Silver or Silver Metallic in, say, 2002 sets, you shouldn't have too many problems.

Alright.  I've resized 4796 Ogel Mutant Squid to a smaller size, and I'll do my best to keep your guidelines in mind in the future.

I'm afraid I've still got some questions about the many colors of silver (LDD includes Silver, Metallic Light Grey, Silver Flip/Flop, Cool Silver, Cool silver drum lacq, Metalized Silver, and Silver Metallic, and these aren't even all of the variations of silver produced by LEGO!), but I don't think this topic is the best place to continue asking these questions.  It certainly does not help that LEGO sites seem to be notoriously bad at identifying the correct version of silver, and comparing the pieces in real life can only get you so far if you don't know the corresponding names.

For two of these next few Alpha Team sets, I took the liberty of adding an alternate LXF for the set's "Alpha Mode" version, which would not be considered an alternate model and so is not given a separate entry.  The "Alpha Mode" of 4744 Tundra Tracker, the "Magma Drill", proved trickier to replicate in LDD and so is not included, but I'm sure that someone with too much time on his/her hands can figure out how to make it.

@Johan J
You only have to report the fix, you don't need to post the set again!

I edit your post to show you how to do.

PS: about the use of the attachment function of the forum, we prefer to don't use it in this case.
A brickshelf gallery is reliable enough and allow you to share and deeplink both images and lxf files.
