The royal jester and son

Recommended Posts

This is simply amazing, there is just so much to like! Everything from the stained glass windows, arch techniques, floor tiles and the selection of minifigs to accurately portray medieval court life is perfect. The small details reall work well and I love the fact that the King is so young to properly enjoy the festivities. It seems you have a theme going on with the repeat of sons, the young King, the Jester's son, and what looks like young royal members in the audience.

It is all very grand while remaining jovial and innocent, great work!

I don't think I can add anything to just how wonderful the build itself is but the one thing I really liked is the miserable audience member looking grumpily at the chap next to him as if to say.. "Do you honestly think that's funny?".

Beautiful work!

So many wonderful details and the scale is grand. Love the arches and architecture, the heraldry in display, all of it.

Thanks for sharing!

What a great creation! I especially like the way you created the mosaic on the floor. Am I right that you set pieces on their side to make the pattern? If so, that's ingenious.

I love this! So much detailing going on everywhere! I am very impressed with the collection of shields you have on the walls etc, that's cool! I also love the balcony section above, really nice detailing up there, and of course the floor is great too, as is the thrown area, The blues work really well there! But my favourite part/s are the windows and the stained glass, great detailing!

Awesome job and happy building
