Bob Posted August 10, 2016 SECRET ENEMIES Day Six: I'm running out of titles already since there's no witty night actions "Another day, another town policy! Only two more to go!" There's also two mafia cards down, which means they need to pass four more. "Well, yes, but I'm trying to start the day on a positive note." Bob replied. I know, I just wanted to make a clarification. "Why are we talking to ourselves? Let's get on with the day, this is getting weird." ~~~ Characters (11) Lindsey Green - Khscarymovie4 Ralph Brooks - Actor Builder Joshua Sutton - Peanuts Scott Howell - Jackjonespaw Erik Kelly - Umbra-Manis Patricia Davis - Tariq J Anne Martin - Mediumsnowman Michael Wright - Jluck Edward Cook - Chromeknight Christina Phillips - Fhomess Robert Butler - Dragonfire Out of Town: Betsy Bowers - Forresto DAY SIX Today's Mayor is Anne Martin / mediumsnowman! He must pick a Town Council Chair and nominate that person publicly here. Then you will have 24 hours to approve his government by voting either Yes or No. He should do so ASAP without delay. If he does not within 24 hours from now, it will be a failed government and a new mayor will be selected. Remember, if three governments fail in a row (that would be 72 hours theoretically - three 24 hour periods), then the top card is flipped and that policy is enacted. mediumsnowman Posted August 10, 2016 I would like to nominate Edward Cook (Chromeknight) as my TCC. I have a good town-read on him, he seems to be doing his best to help figure out who's scum and pass town policies. It is imperative we pass another town policy today. Khscarymovie4 Posted August 10, 2016 Sorry Anne, but I'm going to vote No. If Ralph is telling the truth, then it is possible that Joshua said you were town to make you look less scummy.
Tariq j Posted August 10, 2016 I find it interesting (and convenient) that one of the most suspected players in the game chooses to nominate a player who's given out a town read. There are still two players who haven't been in government and would be good to get a read on them. The fact that Edward has been giving off town reads makes it more likely for a town policy to be passed. Thus making you look town. I'm also going to vote NO
Dragonfire Posted August 10, 2016 Bob, if this government fails, will a new mayor be selected? I'm going to vote No, as I don't think anyone under suspicion should be our Mayor and I've already expressed my views in the previous two days' threads. I'm voting under the assumption that the answer to the above question is yes.
Actor Builder Posted August 10, 2016 Because I know Joshua is scum, I'm wary of electing you, Anne. I love Anne, but perhaps Anne does not love me. So, No. Love you.
Umbra-Manis Posted August 10, 2016 Nope. Under suspicion, so reason to let it pass. I vote No.
jluck Posted August 10, 2016 Yep, let's see what else Bob has to offer. There's no reason to risk it. no
Chromeknight Posted August 10, 2016 And again majority. Protocol usually is, if one is nominated, you'd vote yes, but in this case the point is moot. Let's see who the next mayor is.
jluck Posted August 11, 2016 And again majority. Protocol usually is, if one is nominated, you'd vote yes, but in this case the point is moot. Let's see who the next mayor is. I'm confused with what you're saying here... You think everyone should have automatically voted yes for someone we don't trust?
mediumsnowman Posted August 11, 2016 Okay then, your choice. I'm town, I was investigated town, I was given two Mafia policies when I was TCC. Nothing else I can do.
Chromeknight Posted August 11, 2016 I'm confused with what you're saying here... You think everyone should have automatically voted yes for someone we don't trust? No I'm saying normally I'd vote yes, since I know I'm town. But this isn't a normal case. It's rare someone nominated to TCC would reject the honour,
jluck Posted August 11, 2016 No I'm saying normally I'd vote yes, since I know I'm town. But this isn't a normal case. It's rare someone nominated to TCC would reject the honour, That makes more sense
fhomess Posted August 11, 2016 Okay then, your choice. I'm town, I was investigated town, I was given two Mafia policies when I was TCC. Nothing else I can do. Are you surprised?
mediumsnowman Posted August 11, 2016 Are you surprised? Honestly... Not really.
Bob Posted August 11, 2016 Bob, if this government fails, will a new mayor be selected? Yes! Today's new Mayor is Christina Phillips / fhomess! One government has already failed, two remain.
fhomess Posted August 12, 2016 I nominate Patricia Davis - Tariq as TCC. I can't chose Michael or Erik because they were in the council yesterday. I won't choose Joshua, Ralph, or Anne for the investigation reasons. I don't wish to choose Scott because he hasn't shown up since Day 2. Edward and Robert are similar to Patricia - unknowns to me, and I'm not entirely comfortable with either. I don't wish to choose Lindsey because I'm pretty sure she's town. It's likely that there will be exactly one town card in my hand (one of our mayors lied), so I should be able to pass along a town and a scum card to Patricia so we can get an appropriate read on her. If Patricia ends up revealing herself as scum by passing a mafia policy, I will have the right to install Lindsey or Erik as Mayor tomorrow. If not, we get the town policy passed and we're one step closer to victory. I should note that I am going to have less time to contribute over the next few days, but will do my best. Dragonfire Posted August 12, 2016 I'll vote Yes to that, I see no problem with Patricia as TCC and hopefully, this is a chance for some more of us to prove themselves as town.
Khscarymovie4 Posted August 12, 2016 I vote yes. I think a reading on both Christina and Patricia would be good.
Tariq j Posted August 12, 2016 I also vote yes. to myself. I know I'm town and this is my chance to prove it.
Chromeknight Posted August 12, 2016 Yes. We all agree there's virtually zero chance of it being three scum cards drawn?
Dragonfire Posted August 12, 2016 Unless two of our mayors were lying and discarded town cards, and the random card drawn from the pack is a scum one. But yes, the chance is very slight, so if a mafia policy passes it's way more likely that at least one of the government is scum.
Peanuts Posted August 12, 2016 I will also vote yes. I guess I'm biased here, but I am sad Anne was voted down, but of course not surprised. At least it's Christina, a person I'm leaning town on. Patricia hasn't had a chance to make a choice yet (being given two town cards), so I'd like tos ee what she does this time around. Yes. We all agree there's virtually zero chance of it being three scum cards drawn? I do. If a scum card comes up, I will be very suspicious.
jluck Posted August 12, 2016 Sure, just don't screw us I don't see any reason we should get a scum card, just sayin. yes
