amazon have got Helm's Deep for £70!

I came here to report that as well, it's an amazing offer. Even though I don't really have the money for it atm, it's hard to resist making money for it... since it's half price compared to retail here!

A Tesco store near my work has some minor reductions on lots of City sets plus the X-Wing fighter is reduced to around £37 and Series 1 Planet sets are around £7.50 (some other SW sets are reduced too) AND they have a 3 for 2 offer on all toys incl. Lego - (cheapest free) I'm assuming this is a nation-wide promo.

Also my local Asda and The Book People are selling the Ninjago Character Encyclopaedia for £5

Picked up the Thor polybag with The Sun today. Went to three WHSs as they were on my way to where I was going anyway. There was no restriction on the number of polybags you could get at any of them. Saw one bloke get 12!

All three WHSs were in south London.

Does anyone know if you can collect all the tokens and send off for all the poly bags at the end? It doesn't mention it anywhere on the website but it might in the newspaper. Thanks

The newspaper only talks about the voucher being exchangeable for the set 'TODAY only', and doesn't mention anything about sending off the vouchers, so I doubt you'd be able to do that.

Noticable that there weren't huge queues outside WH Smiths for the polybag offer this morning.

The Sun hasn't really pushed this one as much as previous offers, I think I've only seen one TV ad.

I suspect that people will twig as the week goes on though and next Saturday's orc set will be a sell-out.

Does anyone know what they do with leftover polybags? I saw some super heros polys behind the desk at smiths today, but I couldn't see which one they were.

They'll either a) Send them back to the supplier, b) keep them & give them to folk that have relevant vouchers or c) Keep them & sell them later on (Seen this happen in some stores).

They probably won't give them away for free (I've been trying to get some of the previous ones throughout the week but they won't give me any without the vouchers)

Edit:- 1000th post :classic:
