If you used blind (non-flanged) drivers for the middle two wheels, it should work. Someone can confirm as I don't have any BBB drivers around.

Love the detail and the smoke. How did you manage to make it so realistic? -
They may swivel or the whole assembly may slide.

This is a cool idea, keeping the track level, but as Man w/ Hat said, a truss (repeating triangles) would be a lot stiffer than the rectangles. Something along these lines, perhaps? edit: typos, man... they're everywhere...

Hey marbleman, next time you quote a huge post, mind using a "<snip>" or two so we don't have to scroll forever to see your addition? Thanks! Wow... amazing that you were able to have that many drivers with such minimal swing-out.- 40 replies

Digging through the bins is half the fun! (it also drives whoever else is in the house crazy but IDC >:) Honestly, build what you want, keep the rest in bins. I had a couple Santa Fe cars strewn throughout my bins and it took forEVER to find those 2x1 bricks for the ends, but they look so good.

Is the 4561 a good set to start on LEGO Trains?
WholeWheatLego replied to ilikeboomerang1's topic in LEGO Train Tech
It's what I started with. It may not be the most satysfiying build, but its a good place to start. (Plus you get that cool blue windscreen!) -
Nicely done. I like all the details you managed to put in. The retaining walls around the edge of the layout look quite good as well.

Texas Brick Railroad at Brick Fiesta 2015
WholeWheatLego replied to SavaTheAggie's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Your show layouts seem to outdo the previous ones every time. This one is no different! How do you manage to set up it up with all those minute details? Seems like that would take a month for one show... XD -
Nice collection! On a side note, How often does the cat lie on your tracks?
