Jurassic World 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

For anyone wondering about the alternate faces for the 5005255 Jurassic World Limited Edition Bricktober figures.. see below. They are all exclusive. Owen's alternate 'ooo' face in particular cracks me up!

Pirates of the Carribean 5 Sets Discussion

The shark yet lives! I love the way it looks like you can insert a Minifig into its belly! This might be the best indication yet that we are getting more POTC 2017 sets, as it's clear now it won't be released with the Silent Mary. Either that or the shark is an abandoned concept which will never be released. Interesting to note the 2016 date on the underside...

    Assembling Bricksburg

Hey X0n67... I've been following this thread with great interest! I commend you on your commitment to the detail and scope of this project. I too built Emmet's apartment in LDD, some months before you started this thread, but I was wondering how (if you are going off Movie screenshots) you are able to determine a lot of the detail on the back and sides of the building..? Eg. especially in regards to the back - the distribution of the textured masonry bricks, the correct colour placement etc. I too have obsessed over stills from the Movie, and can not seem to reveal from them nearly as much information as you can. I just wondered if you had access to other sources besides the film. Is the Video Game version accurate? Anyway... besides all that, I believe I have something to contribute to this thread that no-one has attempted yet. See below: It's this guy! But I am stumped on a few points, mainly the back legs. However, I do know that a recreation of this horse can be found at The LEGO Movie Experience at Legoland California, which does admittedly differ ever-so-slightly from the onscreen version, but nevertheless will be the closest reference imagery I'll be able to find outside the one above still from the film. Has anyone here been to visit The LEGO Movie Experience and has already happened to have taken some nice high-res imagery of this horse..? Or is anyone going soon who would be able to assist me by taking some detailed snaps? Can anyone identify the Minifigure riding on top? Can anyone identity the correct technic grey part that the reigns go through? Does anyone know the original creator who built it? Any further reference imagery I could get would go a long way to helping me re-create this great build, which I would of course share on completion. Many thanks for your interest and help! - James
  4. Hi guys, So I figured, if anyone would be able to help me, it'd be the fine folks over at the Eurobricks Forums. Basically I am trying my best to recreate this: As seen in the LEGO Movie (though briefly), it is one of the Wild West Citizen's Master Build creation designed to thwart President Business. I am currently attempting to recreate it in LDD, with limited success, (I've done the head, reigns and a bit of the front legs). I have found a few low-res or blurry images online which are not too much additional help unfortunately. However, I do know that a recreation of this horse can be found at The LEGO Movie Experience at Legoland California, which does admittedly differ ever-so-slightly from the onscreen version, but nevertheless will be the closest reference imagery I'll be able to find outside the one above still from the film. Or is anyone going soon who would be able to assist me by taking some detailed snaps? Can anyone identify the Minifigure riding on top? Does anyone know the original creator who built it? I know it's a long shot, but any further reference imagery I could get would go a long way to helping me re-create this great build, which I would of course share on completion. 2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion

Well this is exciting : A new LEGO Movie January 2015 set? Chris Miller tweeted the above image on his official Twitter feed, which shows the Batmobile design as featured in the Movie. I've checked - as far as I can see it's identical to the on-screen version, although I haven't done an in-depth comparison yet. Hopefully we aren't looking at a fan or custom built creation, and instead this image hints at a second (third? if we include the Sad Kitty Comic Con leaked image) confirmed Movie themed 2015 set release. If so, this'll be the third Batman figure from the Movie line-up. It remains to be seen if it can transform into the Batwing. Unlikely in my opinion, as that contains a much higher piece count. I'm not a massive Batman fan, but definitely a Movie theme completionist, so this will be a must buy for me if it is a legitimate upcoming release. If anyone can offer detailed comparison images to the on-screen LEGO Movie version, please feel free do so. If not I'll endeavour to upload something tonight when I'm back from work.
