Hi all Just getting into MOC modulars, and have got the basic structure of the first 3 floors of a coffee shop/ bookshop, slightly inspired by a place I found in Bern. That one was inside a small covered area which used to be a backstreet. My MOC is a main road affair, and I'm looking to make a sign at the front somehow, with a model of a coffee cup, (Quite easy i think, and then the words "& a Book" next to it. I'm quite restricted on pieces. Does anyone have any ideas how to create letters. I've tried to use the same technique as that used in Al's barber shop, but the letters are often spaced too far apart. Any ideas or places to point me? I will get round to posting a thread for my MOCs on here at some points.

I'd like to point out that the response from everyone regarding the 'teaser' was quite overwhelming. I just hope this MOC lives up to everyone's exceptions considering the fan base I've generated from this single project alone. I cannot wait to finally share the results with you guys after working on this concept for three years with breaks in-between. It's the biggest MOC I've ever created with over 3,500 pieces! Hello fellow EB members; I present my newest MOC with a distinct American feel from the 1940's - Brickhills Avenue. It was inspired by a trip to Disney's Hollywood studios several years ago. I was really interested in the Art Deco/Streamline styling of some of the stores on 'Sunset Boulevard' and 'Hollywood Boulevard' and did some research to find out where they got their inspiration from. Many of these buildings are based on real one's in and around L.A, many of which are still in use today albeit with different purposes. The corner store houses Gini's electrical store and the white and black streamline building is a ladies clothing boutique. I certainly enjoyed making the ladies store more than the electrical shop I've set it in the early 1960's, just as the 'Walk of fame' stars we're being added to the sidewalk/pavement, also a good excuse to use some very cool Scooby-Doo 1960's hairpieces! Anyway on with the pics - all 7 of them; You can see them at flickr if you prefer on the link here: https://www.flickr.c...s/52656812@N04/ Any questions, comments or suggestions welcomed!

After a long absence, that I am presenting today it is the single largest MOC and challenging I have ever done so far. This MOC represent a medieval winter district with 4 houses, a cemetery (on the back) and a rock mountain with a castle used today for tourism visits. Around the block it consists of 6 Baseplates 32x32 and will be part again of my famous Winter Village. This project took me nine months of work and the use of 16,000 pieces. All the houses and the whole castle (and the basement of the castle) are embellished with furnishings with many scenes and details. The entire moc consists of 45 Minifigs and there are various curiosities scattered to embellish the work. I put on Flickr over 100 photographs to observe every detail of this moc. You can ask me all the curiosity and I will try to fill all your questions. This MOC will be presented for the first time in Lecco (Italy) during the two days of the exhibition at the end of July 2016. Flickr Complete Gallery: Greetings to all! Sandro ....The Winter Has Come!!!

Not much to say about this build, except that the road was a colossal pain! One of my biggest builds to date - though I'm working on something bigger right now! Got some good use out of those corner tiles, too. And lastly, my eagle. Which I had been planning on changing to black but totally forgot. C&C are always welcome! Thank you very much for looking!

India Mill Chimney - Darwen, Lancashire India Mill chimney was the tallest and most expensive in England when it was completed in 1867. India Mill Chimney stands 303' in Darwen, Lancashire. The Lego version stands 5'6½". Back then, mill owners had more money than they knew what to do with ... so when they built their new mill, they'd want it build with fancier brickwork, a taller tower, etc, than the mill owned by another guy in the next town. This means that many of those old buildings were great architectural works of art. Many were demolished in the 1960s and 1970s, but fortunately not all were. The ones that remain are now listed buildings. India Mill Tower is a Grade II* listed building. This building had its debut at the Amherst Railway Show in West Springfield MA on Jan 30-31, 2016. This rendition of India Mill Chimney in Lego is the latest in my series of Real Life buildings. Detailed view of top: Close-up of the upper section showing detail in Lego & real-life. Note the bare brick top. When originally built, there was about 20 tons of ornate wrought-iron atop to crown the building nicely. This was removed during World War II to be melted down (along with railings from houses, parks and other sources) to be used in the war effort. My rendering brings a semblance of this ironwork back! View of base & a perspective from bottom looking up: Enjoy!

Hello fellow Lego fans! I am brand new to these forums as I am just getting back into Lego after all these years. It's a blast reading through these forums and admiring everyone's creations! I would like to share my very first MOC ever! The Lego Retail Store. It's inspired by the set given away at Lego Store grand openings, set 40145. I Bricklinked all the pieces for that set but decided to build a larger version. I hope you all like it! Please feel free to make any suggestions to make any improvements! Thanks and enjoy! Hello mates, I'm back with new creations on rescue and emergency theme. This is a 4x4 Off Road Ambulance. Is based on the vet unit from 2015 set 75917 "Raptor rampage". I changed the colors, add a winch, and added some details and interiors as a stretcher, medical computer and an oxygen tank. For the stickers I have downloaded them from internet.

The City of Skavenport was one of the strangest cities in Nocturnus, where indeed many a strange town existed. Maybe it was even one of the most peculiar cities in all of Historica. But at the first glance a visitor could find no difference to any other bustling town. There were half timbered houses, large and small, built without any sign of logic; older houses with crooked roofs and sagged walls, newer houses attached to the others whereever a free corner could be found. Houses lined to long winding alleys. Some of the larger streets were paved, or once had been at least, but most were muddy and rough. Everywhere the reisdents were busy, hushing through the streets, children were playing, and barkers could be heared. All in all it was a loud place full of life and hustle. But this most special town was inhabited by rats. Not only rats, but rats and men together, side by side. Because this was the city of Osric Isentooth, the Rat Lord. Long ago, when the rats, were driven out of their realm far in the northern Rakath Mountains, Osric led them all through Nocturnus to the eastern shore. But the rats had been weakened and were disheartened. So Osric called for people all over Historica to follow him and join his cause. So the men of Skavenport had come. They were neither lords nor noble knights, not even brave farmers or diligent craftsmen. These men had been thieves and robbers, smugglers and all sort of sinister fellows. That kind of people decent citizen would call rats. And said:"You may live like vermin under your kind, or you live free and proud under us rats." So vagabonds turned into most respectable citizens. They became farmers and craftsmen and merchants. Thieves, who had never known other than loneliness, became the fathers of families. And the rats on the other hand adapted much of the manners of their new neighbours. Where they once had lived in caverns and dug tunnels they now inhabited tall houses and walked other broad streets. They learned to esteem precious fabric and to trade with all kinds of goods (a new and very strong domain of the rat people). They learned how to grow crops and even how to tame the sea. Some travelled far away aboard black sailed ships and returned with spices from isles as far in the south as any mariner ever dared to sail. And the rats and the men lived henceforth in union, and nothing ever would divide them. So, finally I can present you the first build of my city! Enjoy Skavenport!

Hi again, today I post my Airport Fire Truck, the model is from the 2013 set 60061 "Airport Fire Truck". I like the design and the model, so I decided not distorting it further. I added a fire hose on the right side, a fire spear in the front, more equipments and lights.

Hello All, I have exhibited at Legoworld in the Netherlands this year with a landscape based on the first pirates series. The landscape is 7 meters long and 1.25 wide. I created this landscape with my brother and it took ,roughly said, 5 months to built. We wanted a bigger landscape, but we did not have that many blue baseplates. The landscape contains a small town with a wall around it. There is a small harbor and a bit of countryside. Behind the wall is a big sea with several Islands of the Imperial soldier. There is one big island with Islanders. The island contains a volcano, several waterfalls and cottages of the Islanders. Across the sea is a fortress of the Imperial Armada. In the end corners of the landscape are several pirate hideouts and a city of gold (Eldorado?). Here is the link to the pictures. http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=560054 Questions and comments/feedback are welcome. Sincerely, Sander

Here it is my City Ambulance no. 1. The base is the 2006 set 7890 "Ambulance". The style of the ambulance wants to look like the style of american ambulances so I enlarged it to to derive a large compartment in order to accommodate a paramedic, a stretcher, medical computers, medikits, various equipments and an oxygen tank.

The Streets Of Skavenport With endless forests surrounding the city, Skavenport has immense access to huntable wildlife. The skin sold by the huntsmen is processed into fine fur by Skavenports many furriers and one of the most desired exports. Foxes, sables and wolves are popular furs, but you will never find a coat of squirrel skin, or a beaver hat in Skavenport, since Lord Osric had forbidden the sale and production of rodents, in the city. On the furrier's bench last rags of flesh are severed from the skin. Tanning makes the skin smooth and durable. So, a little bit more Skavenport. Enjoy!

Well, it's been a long time for the tiger to post a new MOC and this time it's something I always do but with a completely fresh angle - the USA not Australia. ACE Hardware is a major hardware chain in the USA and I thought it would be a good starting point for my new sub-theme of creations "Small Town USA". I transfer some parts of other MOC's into this one like the paint tinting machine and key cutting machine. A new sticker systems I have worked out to gain more high resolution stickers. Yes, I have this on Ideas - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/143047 Any suggestions and comments please feel free to post them. Brick On everyone !

Hi, A few weeks ago I've finished this MOC. Finally I've had time taking some pictures of it. This model is a minifig scale version of the KOMATSU 931.1 harvester. Hello fellow EB members! My latest project is more of a novelty building rather than my usual MOC's with lots of architectural details. I thought it'd be pretty fun to make a more 'quirky' building. I've seen plenty of novelty buildings online but not so much in person, I don't think its something seen much here in the UK. A toaster seemed an obvious shape to make with what bricks I have so turning it into a bakery sold itself! All manner of pastries, loaves and much more are available to purchase all freshly baked onsite in the 'flour' tower. Grab a coffee to go at the cup kiosk! On with the pics - only 3 of them; You can view them on my flickrstream if you prefer here: https://www.flickr.c...s/52656812@N04/ Comments welcome!
