Very nice work, your retro buildings are getting better and better!
-
Like others have said: fantastic floor.

The Imperial Trading Post is one of the best Pirate-themed sets ever, and I truly wish I owned it. While all 3 sets are pretty great, the ITP is just one step ahead of all competition for it's well-rounded and different design. Not to mention the fact that it has a unique boat and exclusive minifig.

Get it before it's too late, if you can afford it. It's a masterpiece, and I'd love to have the money for it myself.

Fantastic build, great idea.

A strange place to ask indeed. But no, it's not Guarded Inn. Or that is: parts of it is... and it seems to be built almost exactly the same way the original is built. But several of the colors are wrong, eg. on the lower walls (which should be grey) and the roof (which should be black).

Fun little find, much better than today's commercials. It particularly fascinates me that the pirates were actually sort of made out to be the "good" guys.

Teaser: there's something on the horizon... what can it be?

That's a pretty strange comic. -
Awww damn, missed it AGAIN. I knew I shouldn't hold off getting it when I first saw it. :(

Fairly simple-looking at first glance, but extremely elegant at the same time.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Joust set, but as part of something larger like in this moc, I really appreciate it. Looks great, and must have been fun to create two people together. Also, I really like the sand green for the small house.

The one with a skeleton rider as well? I would love that one. Don't know quite what it is about that set, but it has something special for a set that size... Great assortment of sets to buy at the same time, btw!

I share this opinion. Though if I were to pick one of the fleshie elves, I'd say Tauriel.

Splendid display piece. Like others have said, it's impressive how you have managed to keep the official set almost completely intact and just built and expanded upon it to create a more "whole" feel. Good work.

I came here to report that as well, it's an amazing offer. Even though I don't really have the money for it atm, it's hard to resist making money for it... since it's half price compared to retail here!

I plan on getting Helm's Deep myself, for use with regular Castle, as the figures doesn't interest me much either (though for different reasons). It's a great idea.
-
Looks great, really impressive. Fantastic choice of colors, too.

for the people, freedom and honor! Castle Diorama

Fantastic work. I too, like so many others, especially love the cracks in the walls and other battle damage. Amazing details. I also like how many chrome helmets you have managed to amass, they make the brave defenders look extra majestic. -
I think it's a good build, though a bit too much in the same colour... have you considered adding another colour here and there, to break it up a bit? I'm thinking some sand green elements in the walls, a bit like in some of the LOTR sets maybe...? But like I said: good build, no doubt about that.

Which Hobbit set are you most looking forward to?
Hive replied to Ferrik's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Mirkwood, because of the exciting new colors and parts. Though Bag End looks good as well, and is the only set that feels "complete". -
So no Pirate stuff after all? Aawww, dissapointing.
-
As a whole, I think the Hobbit sets are dissapointing compared to the LOTR sets. I do like some of the new pieces and color variations a great deal though, especially in that set with spiders. I think I'll get that one. The figure designs are pretty impressive though, but not a factor for me due to nearly all of them being flesh.

I just noticed this on superhero hype and rushed over to see people's reactions to it. While Turtles doesn't interest me these days (I looooved them as a kid though), I still feel it's a great match-up that should satisfy lots and lots of kids. I actually think LEGO and Turtles are a better match than most licensed themes, and I'd be surprised if they don't sell well.

Very smooth colorscheme with a good facade and nice interior. Though the stairs going "outside" of the build irks me somewhat...

I like it, it looks like some kind of 80's predecessor to the MMV. One of your best builds so far, imo.
