I saw someone post a picture of a "Clickbrick" polybag in another thread and decided to google it, which lead to this homepage: http://www.clickbrick.jp/index.html ..which, apparantly, is a company actually called "LEGO Clickbrick". The homepage being Japanese didn't help my lust for information, so does anyone know what this is all about...?

Innovative idea. I like the backdrop within the cart.

My oh my, that's a lot of LEGO! What did you get? I really wish I had money to buy more than the two ships I got, but eh... such is life sometimes. I'll have to wait with LOTR sets for next year's sale. And hope that POTC goes on clearance.

Our government does not set the price on LEGO, though.
-
I use them to re-pack birthday and christmas presents or for shipping other LEGO in through my Bricklink store.
-
I didn't quite get what you said, could you please repeat it?

I'm pretty sure that the POTC ships won't be along much longer, so unless you get it soon I'm afraid you'll probably miss it... though it wouldn't surprise me if they put it on 50 % off if they have any left after this week's sale. They tend to do that when they want to get rid of "old" LEGO to make space for new. But yeah, I think I've made some good deals with my Pirate ships. -

Just received 4184 The Black Pearl and 4195 Queen Anne's Revenge with the mail, so thrilled! And at 40 % off! Yay! Having bought Brickbeard's Bounty last month, my fledgling ship collection has really kicked off now. -
How can we get TLG to bring Classic-Pirates back!

It never hurts for consumers to tell a company that they would like a previous product back. Nothing wrong with being proactive. -
Wow, that Amazon thing surprises me. I've never received anything from Amazon that was not packaged within another box. Shouldn't happen.

I would if I could, but travelling across the Atlantic to do so just isn't economically feasible.

I love the colors used, very smooth.

Well I have experienced their 40 % sale on all LEGO before, as mentioned elsewhere in this thread it's a yearly occurance around this time. Other than that, they seem to have a habbit of putting clearance themes on 50 % off just before New Year. My local Føtex (part of the same chain) even had clearance themes on between 50-75 % a couple of months ago, way ahead of anyone else! Sad part was that they don't really have a lot of LEGO, so the selection wasn't great. But I would not be surprised if Bilka does the same thing with clearance items they fail to sell during the sale. Though I don't know if it'll be nationwide or just individual stores, as was the case with my Føtex. I only very rarely buy LEGO at less than 40 % off (and obviously prefer 50 % or more). In fact, only some select collectible minifigures I really wanted or old sets that have long since gone from shelves do I buy at higher costs than that. So if you don't have to get new sets straight away when they are released, my advice is to wait for at least a 40 % sale - or, if you are willing to risk the sets being sold out, a clearance sale.

This is simply brilliant, I love it!

Is it not possible to have Bricklink email you when you receive a private message? I thought it did so already, but I guess I was wrong... and I cannot seem to find out how to switch it on.
-
Man, I'm happy I got up early to order: both The Black Pearl and Queen Anne's Revenge (as well as Lond Escape, which I had strongly considered getting as well) are now sold out from the webshop. So are half of the Monster Hunters theme and about 2/3 of the Friends theme. Surprisingly to me, however, none of the LOTR sets are sold out (yet). I may visit their physical store next week to see if they put any remaining POTC sets on clearance.

Impressive work and pretty spot on. Too bad you couldn't do the Sherman in "military green" though. But well done!
-
...which is completely irrelevant for us consumers. LEGO should definately take up a new approach. I haven't yet experienced a messed-with set, but I can definately see it being easy for the thieves to pull off.
-
It's close enough, and I'm sure it could be merged with the Dwarf's Mine if you have a little imagination.
-
Yeah I didn't dare to wait and decided to get up freakishly early (considering it's sunday) to order The Black Pearl and Queen Anne's Revenge. It ached me a bit that it was not my planned 50 % off, but I hope they'll be worth it.

They are very detailed and the quality looks impressive. However, I for one actually prefer the official LEGO versions. Somehow, I think their lack of detail makes them more charming. But maybe that's just me.

Ebay seller gets busted for switching price labels
Hive replied to lightningtiger's topic in General LEGO Discussion
He's obviously some sort of genius: -
Agreed, the Imperial Flagship comes close to MMV. I wish I had it.
-
Ah yes but he's not asking for them to pay back the difference in price, he's outright returning the items (which they allow for x number of days just like any other shop) - and then, after having returned them and gotten his money back, he buys them again. Anyway, I'm sadly going to have to cut back on what I otherwise planned to buy at this sale (or, rather, the 50 % clearance sale I was expecting) due to me having to buy a new computer last month. So I'll probably only end up buying 2-3 sets from the POTC range. Would have liked 3-4 more of them though, and just yesterday I noticed that Bilka have gotten LOTR sets as well now! Man, it will be hard to resist...

Fun thing is that I've owned it since December 2011 myself - but have yet to open it. A set of that caliber, I'm saving for a really special occation. And for when I have room to display it.
