  1. Alright! I've got tons of stuff laying around that I'll probably never get around to selling or building or... yeah. So if anybody's interested in any of this, let me know and we'll work something out - we can start with BL prices and work our way down :) or trade, of course, if you've got something I want. Some of it might be interesting, some of it probably isn't. At all. All of them are in sealed boxes or bags, unless I've explicitly stated they're not. 7688 LEGO Sports Plane 20019 Slave I 30027 Reindeer (x2) 30084 Jay (x7) 30133 Jack Sparrow (x8) 30161 Batmobile 30165 Hawkeye with equipment (x6) 30205 Popstar Red Carpet 30215 Legolas Greenleaf 30255 Crawley (7x) 30259 Azari's Magic Fire 30265 Worriz' Fire Bike 30275 TIE Advanced Prototype 40083 Christmas Tree Truck 40109 MINI Cooper Mini Model 41025 Puppy's Playhouse 41523 Hoogi 71001 LEGO Minifigures Series 10 (just let me know what you need, I don't think there's any that I don't have) 850449 Minifigure Accessory Pack 850486 Rock Band Minifigure Accessory Set 852996 LEGO Club Max (x2) 853301 Alien Conquest Battle Pack 5002145 Rocket Raccoon 5002941 Bionicle Hero Pack 5002943 Winter Soldier (x2) I've also got one of these that I don't need: 10233 Horizon Express And one of these - the box has been opened to pull out the two black gate pieces, so they are missing, but apart from that it's brand new. All the other bags are sealed and have never been out of the box: 10937 Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout And talking about broken seals - I've got one of these that's been built once. Box and booklet is in excellent condition, sticker is not applied: 2000446 Building My SG - Reflect Celebrate Inspire If anybody's interested, I could also bring a full set of these (I'd prefer to sell them as a set - I've got two of each): 40180 Bricktober Theater, 40181 Bricktober Pizza Place, 40182 Bricktober Fire Station, 40183 Bricktober Town Hall ...aaaaand finally, I could be persuaded to part with this: 21100 Shinkai 6500 Submarine - but that's going to be really expensive. (21101 Hayabusa removed. I think I actually sold that a couple of years ago.) There you go. I'll have plenty of space in my car going down to Billund, but I won't be with you until late Sunday night. That is, if everything goes according to plan with my car. It normally doesn't whenever there's a LEGO event involved.
  2. So am I, and so am I. But it's a bit flexible, so I can push it back in :) Quite happy! Just need to place a BrickLink order or two... so I might be a bit pressed for time...
  3. That's too bad. You will both be sorely missed! Just don't work yourself to death. Hopefully, our paths will cross at a later time.
  4. I know some of you say you've never heard of the Caterham before, but I have to say I'm not familiar with the Catherham. What is it? ;) Thank you. I suspected there would be somebody else in here who couldn't resist commenting! That said, I love that they approved Carl's project. He did such a great job transforming it from what was essentially a 'custom LEGO job' to something so 'legal' that it's likely already pretty much production-ready - especially considering he does already design LEGO models for a living, at TT Games. I, for one, being a petrolhead, very much look forward to having one of these on my shelf. It's a lovely little car and a near-perfect rendition of it in LEGO, and as Caterham themselves were big supporters from the start I'm not surprised it made it through.
  5. 4) Series 5 - Royal Guard Entry (Build by Swan Dutchman) - 1 point 16) Series 8 - Cheerleader Entry (Build by Leopold) - 1 point 41) Series 12 - Fairytale Princess Entry (Build by soccerkid6) - 1 point
  6. 12) Kendo Fighter Entry (Build by Leopold) - 1 point 25) Animal Control Officer Entry (Build by Minoton) - 1 point 48) Ballerina Entry (Build by Pakita) - 1 point
  7. So, let me get this straight: If I decide to drive from Billund on Wednesday morning, I won't be missing anything (except the good company I've had since Sunday evening)? Just want to make sure :D
  8. https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=71598#T=C It appears to be from the late-90s Aquazone theme.
  9. I did! But I didn't realise until now that there was more than one picture :) they're still a bit small, though. Looking forward to when you get your Flickr up and running! On another note: You've received an amazing degree of support for this! Well deserved, of course, but 8,000? You're well on your way to making this - it's only a matter of time until you reach 10,000. Congratulations, that's quite an achievement!
  10. That looks amazing! But I can't really tell how amazing, because the picture is so small. You probably weren't allowed to attach a bigger one, and that's because Eurobricks doesn't host images, so you need to upload it to an external image host like Flickr or Bricksafe, and then deeplink the images. I'd love to see more detail shots of this!
  11. 30 30 55 55 29 My three favourites! There's obviously whole lot of lovely entries apart from the ones I voted for, and some of them probably would have rivalled my choices for the points if it hadn't been for this sentence in the rules: "Entries should be new (never posted anywhere previously) and be similar in style to the previous official TLG releases." For me that rules out quite a lot of the entries this year, and so the ones I chose are those that, in my mind, are the best of the ones that I feel are similar in style. That said, there are some incredible building skills on display here (not that that's a surprise!). The level of the entries is off the charts. Well done, everybody who entered - I repeatedly find that I'm very bad at building with time constraints (or any other kind of constraints), so I'm very impressed by people who can do this so well.
  12. This last one is brilliant. Cool colour choices and lots of interesting details. And those custom-designed logos of yours are perfect! I agree - if only you owned a pad printer :)
  13. This is LEGO: What your picture shows looks like an early Asian clone version of this set.
  14. I've heard them being referred to as antistuds for years...
  15. That's a nice improvement! I do think those look better.
  16. Very well done! There are several express bus routes in Norway and they all use similar (and mostly white) buses, so for a Norwegian like me this is instantly recognisable even though I don't live in the North. I like it a lot. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the solution for the mirrors - they look a bit too bulky for me, maybe you could come up with a slightly more elegant solution for that. Apart from that it's lovely :)
  17. I wasn't aware that James had a Flickr account. How did you find that? The image I posted is from Martin Long's Flickr - he's the facilitator for the GWBS and not the guy who built the figures.
  18. Follow the link in the original poster's signature, and you'll get to a website where you can purchase instructions.
  19. Embedding the pictures is how you should do it - Eurobricks doesn't allow image hosting on the site. Seeing as you already have a Flickr account that should be very easy to do :) Also, I believe you can reply to your own posts - but not straight away, there's a time limit to how soon you can do it.
  20. These are James Sutton's figures in six times normal scale. He's a Brickish member. If you want, I can PM you his email address. I believe he also built these, on display with Duncan Titmarsh's 6x scale Yellow Castle: BA-AGM-2008-19 by Martin Long, on Flickr Incidentally, this appeared in newly-restored state at BRICK 2015 last week.
  21. I never cease to be amazed by the People Of The Internet. And it doesn't seem this will stop any time soon... Good luck with fighting these obnoxious people. Hopefully, this guy sounds creepier than he is.

    10251 Brick Bank

Apology instantly accepted and understood. That sort of thing can happen to anyone! So no offense taken - I'm sorry if my response was too harsh. I'm a journalist and work with writing and publishing and stuff, so I'm just very strict when it comes to copyright issues like this - this time, it was an innocent picture of a random LEGO piece, other times it will be pictures of something I've built... But as I said, no offense, we're square! Now, as for the bank itself (to get back on topic), to me it looks stunning. It's a definite buy and contains several nice pieces and clever solutions - like Jamie Berard's models normally do. The only problem is to fit this and the Ghostbusters firehouse into the budget for early 2016...
