Custom LDD bricks and fixes
Stephan replied to Equilibrium's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
That might be difficult since there is a colission between the connection of 32828 and the inside of the pins. That's unfortunately a bug. I'll see if I can find a workaround. -

Where did you get the decorations? Because they look a bit rough? -

Yes, this one can be added :). I thought I already did, but apparently not. Hmm, I will check this. -

Yes, I believe I already added collisions for the next update for this part :) -

The newest Transparent Black will be there. All other colors are already available. -

Or does the Mindstorms/Spike unit use a special plug which is being changed to USB-C according to regulation in the EU? -

I can't imagine them to be solid ABS, you'll get enormous sink marks due to the injection molding. That why most bar type parts (System forks, spoons) and large parts are either hollow or have a hole to decrease the amount of plastic being used. -

Yes! After my vacation I have planned one! There are some parts I want to include so it might take a few days longer ;) -

Rest assured that at some point it will be included. As of yet, there is no 3D model yet available. But it will surely come. -

Yeah, I thought about fixing this one, but since it is often placed under a 45° angle between multiple parts, adding colission data might make using this part very difficult. I believe this flower is missing colission data. -

Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed with the newest Unity update, barely no new (useful) parts added... -

I'll look into these. Consider them fixed for the next update. -

It is on my list, but there is no proper 3D model yet. Perhaps it is in the new Unity update. Glad to hear that! -

These new Technic parts will definitely be there! I have some trouble finding time for LDD, to set up Patreon for direct part access, before the update and stuff like that. -

Yes, because the Technic holes are ever so slightly smaller I believe which puts stress on the elements. Well, they are actually not tightly attached to the bucket, so there is nothing to be illegal :) -

They already do. But only for single studs since connection a multi-stud parts to multiple Technic holes is an illegal technique. -

LDD itself will not be slower when new parts are added (I have not seen that yet, and we have added about 1400 new/updated parts or something like that). It takes a tiny bit longer to load, but will not be slower during use. -

I will not get the error message since I have all the latest parts files in my folders. With the images of the different new part subjects (new parts, prints, updated parts etc.), you might be able to locate the problem. -

Yes, everything is now fixed when you download the new file! Fixed, there were indeed 4 decorations missing. -

This is now al fixed :) I used a pin connection for 22168, but the pin is of course not the normal Technic pin length, so it is now changed to a cross axle connection, which works really well. -

Yeah, this is due to the programming of the connections; the connection to an understud generates a colission box automatically. I will try to find a solution. For the other parts; I checked them but some colission are a bit too large. This will be fixed asap of course.
