  1. This is also not possible in real life. Note that there are 2 shafts w. Know in real life. One with a longer longer section, making the part "in system". This newer one is not yet in LDD. But it will be added soon. I will try to see if I can fix the misalignment issue.
  2. The Black IRs are not in the normal palette since they are rarely used in sets, other than in electronic parts (which are pre-colored in the special palette). For these colors you need to use the color chart and color picker tool. That you are missing the Opal colors is not correct. Make sure you have the following files in the correct folders: Material Names, CurrentMaterials, Materials and Material Selector. I'll try to make a downloadable zip file with only the color files soon. That way you can add all current colors without also adding the new parts and other additions.
  3. Do you use LDD Extended? If you have added all color-related files, the new, current colors should show in the palette.
  4. No, power shield are printed! But the Ninjago one and the HP Hogwarts crest (among others) are stickers :) the small triangle is from the Lego Movie 2 set, where the sticker included a Lime of Earth Blue background as well (I'll add them for this batch).
  5. For the future: stickers don't often have sharp corners, but curved ones. For future sticker designs, please add these as well :) I will do it for the ones you already shared :)
  6. No problem. I will download all your new images asap so I can process them later.
  7. No, because the panel has collisions on two sides of the stud connection. I will make it work ;) You cannot do that. You can separate meshes, create a new surface with a part, drag the meshes into that. That way you can create an extra colorable surface.
  8. That's easy. I'll add a stud connection to the panel. Because of the collisions, normal plates and bricks will not fit, but Minifig legs will (just like the newer escalator piece).
  9. I didn't know that negatively scaled collisions didn't work. I just thought their coordinates were Inverted. Good to know!
  10. Not compared to the 2020 update on Github? Left the newest version, right the 2020 version. Both have the same position of the Custom2DField. I also have no removed parts from my LDD files (the ones I checked). Fixed!
  11. Sorry, the text is not red. But there should be lines with material id = 21.
  12. Yes, there is. In the Lego Digital Designer folder, there is the UnplaceableBricksDump.lxfml. Open that in Notepad and search for "materialid = "21"" The exact phrase I don't know, but you'll see it when you open the file. Removed parts are colored Red in the text file.
  13. This one didn't move. I replaced the original 3D model with the LDraw one since the original was wrong. But I placed the LDraw one on the exact same place. Fixed! They were in the rar file so I could easily add them from my work pc.
  14. Added fix version 20220302: LINK. 15. Right now I use a website that offers Text Compare. That helps a lot already (even though 90% of the current parts are added by myself).
  16. No, it depend on the brick: in the case of the dog the decoration surfaces were added by another contributor which changed the orientation of the part. This is harder to check beforehand for me because I get new files so I would have to check the contents of every file I get (which I already do though nowadays, but that takes time). For the 2x6 Tile it's my own fault! I changed the orientation for private use and export benefits, but overwrote the Dropbox files with these when I updated the collision data... stupid mistake. Most of the times the orientation isn't that important. It should be in-system and convenient to use. If there is original TLG data available (i.e. Unity Micro Game) we should adhere to that for consistency, but since LDD is now officially abandoned, that's not mandatory. Yes, they will, no matter what. They will continue to adhere to the latest fixes. Only their position/orientation will change. I have the old 69729 xml file in the master repository of Github and 29602 (if it's the dog..., I can't check the number right now) should be in the original LDD folder.
  17. Still couldn't get it to work, but now I used the previous stud model and the new cube/Brick model. That worked :) This is the exception. The part was available with a wrong PartID because NewElementary made a typo. That was a good reason to improve its position. I agree with @SylvainLS that the position of released/original parts should not be changed unless there is a VERY good reason for it. I am sorry for these inconveniences and will correct them this afternoon! I will also think of something to prevent this from happening in the future.
  18. I will look into this. This is indeed not what should happen. I will disable the Dropbox link until I get home to fix the aforementioned error of the 2x6 Tile. I will also clean the Github repository and merge it with the Master. (I already know what happened to the 2x6 Tile, so that should be an easy fix). 29602 will be reverted as well.
  19. Found it, but for me the stud remains odly shadowed and highlighted...
  20. How do I find these? And how can I fix that :P
  21. The 'updated' version or the original?
