Custom LDD bricks and fixes
Stephan replied to Equilibrium's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
There will be an update! As a mather of fact, the newest parts are already on Github. I spent almost all day recreating the Crater Baseplate due to ugly outlines... That's why there is a little delay. I will try my utmost best to still release the all-in update today. -

This topic is not about Studio... I will try to add that as well. Saturday morning is my deadline, all parts that I've been able to include are included, all others will follow in the next update :) -

I did not find a 3D model when I quickly searched the web, but no luck yet. I will put it on the list :) -

Unfortunatelly for these 2 parts no 3D file is available (yet). We will ask if they can be made and after that add them :) -

I never had any trouble with this part? Can you show the problem? -

Definitely not according to the regular connections... but I might have an idea how to fix it, if it appears to be possible as I think it should be... -

I had tested this as well.. Sad that it doesn't provide this option, but nothing we can do about that. -

Yes :) Progress is a bit slow. @jester added more than 200 decorations and 50 new parts (give or take). The most time is going into the paperwork (change list, Pre-Colored Palette). And of course adding colission data where not available. -

I noticed this too and this is fixed in the version I use now. Yes, but I want to include in into the palette. -

I need 1 Black hand, and 1 LBG hand. But the code I used in my previous post gives 2 Black hands. -

Does anyone know how to pre-color one hand a different color in the Palette? <Assembly designID="76382" quantity="1" ItemNos="6356347"> <Part designID="3814" materialID="316"> <Decoration surfaceID="1" decorationID="56861"/> <Decoration surfaceID="2" decorationID="56862"/> </Part> <Part designID="3818" materialID="316"> <Decoration surfaceID="1" decorationID="56863"/> </Part> <Part designID="3819" materialID="316"/> <Part designID="3820" materialID="26"/> <Part designID="3820" materialID="194"/> </Assembly> This just results in two Black hands... -

Expect them in the next update :) -
It is on my list to do. But since I am adding the new parts and prints as well, this takes longer than it would normally do. Yes, there a instructions and a link to the latest update in the LDD New Part topic. If you follow the steps, your LDD will not be stuffed-up. And that is also the reason you should keep a copy of the lif file.

I think this is because of the lack of collision of the hollow stud. The studs from original LDD meshes have collision added automatically. But hollow studs might not have that. I'll finish the Decorations of the Countach and will look into it. -

It might have to do something with the Friction Ridges of the part. I generally differ between molds for transparent parts and solid parts (mainly do to support for Mecabricks for which I build in LDD). But I don't always share these parts since not everybody wants to have 2 identical 1x2 plates in the parts which could lead to error. Looking at the Bricklink images of 10885 vs 50946, the older one should fit as well? The new one should be more critical due to an extra side wall.
