The problem already existed in LDD, with a torso partID being referenced by another assembly. I have never been able reproduce this problem, nor does everyone have this problem. I can only say that if you update ALL torso related files, the issue should not occur. At least that's what other users have been telling me. If that doesn't work, you might want to do a clean install and copy files one by one from the update so you can see what is causing the error. If you share your files with me, I might be able to do this as well at some point.

The update is now correct again. There were two issues with it: 1. The Preferences.ini file was being overwritten with my personal one, overwriting your visible Palettes and settings. 2. There was a folder layer missing, causing an error in the folder structure. Both these errors are now fixed. Regarding the slower download speed: both update versions (complete and 20251130) download within 2 minutes on my computer. So it could be due to you internet speed. You can actually still choose to manually download the zip files. Just choose the option "Let me choose" from the installer. That asks for a location on your computer to download the zip files to. Then you can decide for yourself which parts to add. If you only want the zip files, you can manually download them from my GitHub Releases: https://github.com/stephan3321/LDD-custom-update-releases/releases. I've wanted to check this topic every now and then, but just didn't manage to do so . I thought about this last week. I will make some trials by adding a bar connection to them. Hello all, Sorry for being absent here. I still haven't completely found my way to introduce everybody to these updates. Hence the errors... Before I roll out the update below globally, please let me know if you find any other problems. 20250822 v1.0 update fix Should be also fixed now. The position of the hand was not correct, causing it to actually not being attached. IDs of the assemblies have been updated as well with new known information. Dr. Eggman has also been updated to have the pin holes the same color as the torso.

Unfortunately no. The best thing is to use 6 numbers and stay away from the 1xxxxx range. But you never know with TLG...

You are missing some spring assemblies. The stickers are simply also decoration png's. They are not included in screenshots because LDD does not really like the 8 digit number assigned to them. For example you can not switch between LDD modes when you added stickers. But, if you recreate official sets, you can copy paste the files into the Decoration folder and simply apple them with the Decoration tool. Hmm.. I will check it.

I will share with you a separate file because I am not sure what you did and didn't delete. Can you share a screenshot with me? Then I can look into it more. Missing decorations should not give a "x parts have been deleted" message.

Then all should be fine. The .g files in LOD0 represent the 3D data of the part. The .xml files are the connection, collision, etc. data.

The files are there in the update though? Hmm...

If you open your db folder and sort by file type, you will see files that are different and have a .g extension. You have to delete those. It's about 10-13 files.

You are missing the assembly files.

You also did something else. Because you are at least missing 2 shock absorbers and the files are in the update. I think your missing parts are caused by your missing assembly files.

Can you open the 240922.lxf and share a screenshot of the new parts section? Then I can check which parts is missing and causing your problem. Yes, in the next one. Otherwise this update would be delayed by months.

Found the mistake. Some parts were copied in the wrong folder. Please delete all g files from the db folder (not the LOD0 folder of course!). All should be fixed now! Please make the edit above and try again. Due to file size limits something went wrong there... Everything is now fixed.
