    Anyone found the polybag train set (30543) in the USA yet? There is none at Target or Walmart like there has been in years past. Possibly too early?

    I was really happy about this set considering I built one for the Winter Village Contest back in 2012. I think the tower that houses the fire pole is great. with the white window inserts. One thing that I can not figure out is if the garage doors open to the outside or if they open in. It appears to me that they open in, which makes no sense. With limited space inside the station you should not have inward swinging doors. The ladder truck stickers with the gold leafing ladder 4 is a very awesome touch!

    Great analysis Mr. Asbury! Could't agree more on the backwards tiller. They really missed it on this one. I had such high hopes for an american style engine like the ones you make.

    Thanks for the reply. I guess I'd rather attach as close to the angles as possible. It just seems like such a simple design

    I know at the two non-90deg angles there will be a slight gap. I am ok with that so long as it all attaches.

    Nice work. I personally like 8 wide vs 6 wide. This is my 8 wide quint. I opted for purist lego striping vs door functionality. This is my 8 wide fleet just to show a comparison to other units besides the Quint

    I have a feeling this is not going to be very popular. I know I personally have been working on a new Winter Village building that will now go to waste. It stinks we will not see buildings again as it was always incredible what people came up with. IMO this should be a small side bar contest to the annual Winter Village contest. Maybe give away the Special Edition sets or something for this little contest and save the $100 sets for the really buildings to be included in the winter village not a stall/ride to be included in the Winter Village Market

    Very good addition. I was skeptical when I heard that it was going to be a restraunt. I also tend to not like Astrud's models as much as Jamie's so that goodness he is back! He did a great job on this build.
