V-LF-7A Some of you may have seen my 8 wide Engine. This time I decided to go with a ladder truck. Its was built off a real life truck from here in Wichita, KS.

I have not found Series 6 anywhere here in Wichita, KS. They had series 5 at Walgreens and Target during December. Now there is none anywhere! Our TRU has barely any Legos on the shelf. I loved the fact that Walgreens had them because I could pick them up often.

I think the Robot will be cool, when are they going to release series 6?

I have a question. I uploaded a large Wanted List on BL and bought a lot of the items on that list using the BL built in function. Now do those items automatically come off my Wanted List or do I have to now manually go back in and delete them?

When are the Forest Firefighter sets available?

Where did you see that "if you go to a Lego Store tomorrow you will get the 2nd set free"? I was very hopeful for more info about set 2/2 but could find nothing on that recent e-mail from TLG.

Will Set #2 be available for longer than 3 days starting the 25th?

I agree about the stripe! Its absolutely perfect! I also agree with Ralph about the wheels. They look out of place. Great job on the body!

I had to do away with them on the back two tires on my Quint design , hope to show you LDD version soon

First off great looking rig. Great job on the headlights, very cool. I think you nailed the length but it seems that the roof and back could use just one more layer to add just a bit more to the height. Great rig and I'm glad to see more fire trucks being built

Im working on a Quint next Then their Truck Companies Then finally their brand new Mobile Air/Light Truck I'd love to see someone attempt their Squad trucks

Its not to minifig scale by any means. Sacrifice I made to build a more realistic model. Here is a link to a thread that shows some screenshots of my original design with a minifig. Also after speaking with Ralph_S about the 6-wide model it was decided some major changes were needed

Well after some time and a recent move I finally got a chance to re-do my 6 wide Engine to a 8 wide Engine. This truck does not have functioning doors but is more built based on being a model. You can however put 5 firefighters in the cab just like the real life truck. I really like this new design a lot and it seems to look much better than my 1st pass. I have Ordered through Lego so I should have it built in a few weeks. Please feel free to provide feedback!

Based on the following photo I found it looks like the 2012 Wildland Firefighters will have red helmets. Be nice to have yellow and orange. Please do not deeplink preliminary pictures. Thanks - LuxorV

I think possibly some firefighting tools and different color helmets would be good. No one make anything close to this and it would be a way of cornering the market. Here is a link to a thread I had going on the topic so you can see what im talking about. LINK

Pike Pole Exhaust Fan JAWS of Life (Extrication Tool) Looking for yellow, or red helmets Tan Gear

Does anyone know of a place online that has custom colors of helmets, maybe different torsos? It'd be neat for a BrickArms to make a molding set of small firefighting tools as so many custom molders do police/army stuff. Any help would be great!
